The origin of "The longing for each other turned into water after farewell, and it is already three lives later when I look back"

From Huang Jingren's "Sense of the Past":

Feeling of the Past

The brothel on the avenue is not blocked, and the horse is drunk and the clouds are flowing in the year.

The belt in front of the wind is a concentric knot, and the person at the bottom of the cup is like a flower that explains words.

Go to the North and South Road on the edge of Ducheng and go outside Shanglanmen.

I suddenly feel the dream of Yangzhou, and check my worries about my hair.

Yan Lei's comment: Huang Jingren fell in love with a singer when he was young, but nothing came of it later. In the past, there was an unknown novel "The Book and the Sword Floating", which was about his experience. If you are interested, you can look it up. The first sentence, "The brothel on the avenue is not blocked" points out the location at that time. It is said that at that time, he was sitting beside the horse building, drinking and having fun, which was very pleasant. "The belt before the wind is like a concentric knot, and the people at the bottom of the cup are like flowers explaining words" describes the charming sentiment at that time. But the young man Yeyou, after all, only happened for a moment. Now thinking about the absurdity at that time, all that is left is the white hair on the temples.

It reminds me of the cuckoo sleeping in front of the window, and the cuckoo calls again to urge me away.

The old vows in the painting are like a letter, and the love of Du Mu is in the Zen couch.

After the farewell, the lovesickness was empty, and it has been three lifetimes since I looked back.

The clouds, the moon and the earth are still there, and the fragrance travels a hundred times in the sky.

Yan Leisheng’s comment: If the previous poem was written in an outline and to the point, this one is written in detail. To borrow a term from the movie, the previous song was a panorama, and this one is a close-up. I was still hungover when I was called up, but I was about to leave again. The cry of the cuckoo is "it's better to go home", which is written a lot in old poems. When thinking about returning, it is always said about the cuckoo and the cuckoo is like Du Yu Zgui, like "Zi Gui branches on the third night of the moon" by Cui Tu of the Tang Dynasty, and "The cuckoo will stop crying in the ear" by Anonymous. . But that was longing for home, but here I was urging people to go, and I didn't want to. He had a correspondence with that woman, just like he did to Zhuo Wenjun, but he was just a scholar, so he could only be as ruthless as Du Mu. Here again, it is involuntary. Du Mu's ruthlessness is just his own romantic style. But my own ruthlessness is forced by reality. But no matter what, he still "won the lucky reputation of a brothel" just like Du Mu did before. The longing for each other after farewell is as empty as running water, and returning to it is like a lifetime ago. The previous place is still there, but I can only pursue the lingering fragrance and walk around again and again. The whole poem is full of helplessness.

Ze Mo missed me so often before leaving, leaving fresh traces of tears on the bamboo branches.

How can Xiao Lang be regarded as a passerby if he has many connections with the governor and no firm agreement.

Looking at the colorful clouds in the sky, I am worried about the spring water sparkling beside me.

A hundred feet of coral and a thousand dendrobiums of pearls are hard to exchange for the unmarried body of Luofu.

Yan Leisheng’s comment: The previous poem was written from my own perspective, and this one is written from the other person’s perspective. When I left before, you must have missed me. Your tears were left on Xiang Fei’s bamboo. It's all because I didn't stick to my oath. How can I blame you for treating me like a passerby? Looking at the colorful clouds as far away as you, my melancholy feels like the spring water will never end. Even if there are hundreds of feet of coral and thousands of dendrobium pearls, they can't exchange for you. Here, it can be seen that the former lover has married someone else's concubine. The last sentence is just a poem, using the allusion of Shi Chong's pearl and one dendrobium. It doesn't mean that he really wants to buy it back. Huang Jingren is very poor.

From then on, the sound and dust were silent, and the spring mountains were like black grass and smoke.

Tears filled Wuyuan’s garden at midnight, and I hated to disturb the post office all night long.

There is a blue bird's farewell sentence, and the story will be remembered in passing.

It was a trivial mistake for him to take off his stool, but he only felt sorry for himself a thousand times.

Yan Leisheng commented: This poem is the epilogue. He said that it would be difficult to communicate with him from now on, that he would only have endless thoughts and self-blame, and that he would only have self-pity from now on. The poem is very sad, but it uses a lot of musical references, including four lines in the poem. Huang Jingren's Qilu is quite similar to Yishan, and these four poems are also very similar. He hides his feelings in gorgeous words and uses allusions. Xikun Ti Xue Yishan, air raid face, read the poem "Pear" by Yang Yi, a wine sacrifice in Xikun Ti in the Song Dynasty: "The flowers are as snowy and hurt the spring early, and the thousands of trees are no longer poor. Lu Ju Fu is spread in the Han Garden, Li Who knows the lychee dust in the mountains? The frost adds flavor to the beauty of the nine autumn days, and the moon is flowing over the lake in the five nights. The Chu guest's madness has come to an end, and the water and wind are still hunting Tingping." It can be seen that most of the poems written in Xikun style are like this. Still writing from the perspective of a bystander, the use of allusions seems to be just for practical purposes, and it is inevitably piled up, and even if you understand it, it is like seeing flowers in a fog. Huang Jingren has integrated the allusion into his own feelings. Once he understands it, he feels suddenly enlightened.

Huang Jingren (1749~1783) was a poet of the Qing Dynasty. The courtesy name is Hanyong, the first character is Zhongze, and the nickname is Lu Feizi. A native of Wujin (now Changzhou, Jiangsu). Descendants of Huang Tingjian, a poet of the Northern Song Dynasty.

He lost his father when he was 4 years old. He took the boy's examination at the age of 16 and ranked first among 3,000 people. He became a doctoral student at the age of 17, but he failed to pass the provincial examination every time since then. In the thirty-third year of Qianlong's reign (1768), Huang Jingren began to travel to Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan and other places when he was 20 years old. He was a guest of Wang Taiyue, the envoy of Hunan Province, Shen Yefu, the prefect of Taiping, and Zhu Junmuzhong, the academic administrator of Anhui Province. During Zhu Jun's reign, he impromptuly composed a poem called "Mr. Ji He and Composed a Song Drunk at the Taibai Tower Banquet in Caishiji" which was widely recited for a while. In the 40th year of Qianlong's reign (1775), he went to Beijing at the age of 27. The following year, he was summoned by Emperor Qianlong to inspect the East and passed the second-class examination, and was awarded the title of Bookmark Officer of Wuying Palace. When he was 33 years old, he traveled to Xi'an and visited Bi Yuanmu, the governor of Shaanxi. He will return to the capital next year and serve as candidate for prime minister, but he has not yet been replaced. In the forty-eighth year of Qianlong's reign (1783), Huang Jingren was 35 years old. Forced by his debtors, he fell ill and went to Xi'an again to Yuncheng, Jiezhou, Shanxi. He died of illness in the official office of Shen Yefu, the salt transport envoy in Hedong.

Huang Jingren spent most of his short life in poverty, illness and sorrow. The poems he wrote mostly express the feelings of poverty, loneliness and melancholy. For example, "Miscellaneous Diseases": "The frozen flies are unable to fly on the wall, and their wings hang upside down when they live on pine trees in the rain and dew." His "Farewell to Old Mother", "I was very sick on the way and I wrote poems with sadness", "Brief Sketches of Old Friends with Minor Illnesses", "Traveling at Night", "Four Poems with Miscellaneous Feelings", "Guisi New Year's Eve", etc. are all written in a low and desolate tone, but the tone is fresh and the emotions are sincere and moving. He also wrote some love poems, which were sentimental and sentimental, such as "Reflection on the Past", "Miscellaneous Poems on the Past", "Qihuai", etc.; some poems were written generously and boldly, such as "Youth Journey": "A man writes vigorously towards the battlefield." , Self-love goes on stage without looking at home; Taibai is five feet tall in the sky, and the sword shines brightly in the moonlight. "There are also "Guan Tide Xing", "Hou Guan Tide Xing", "Taibai Tomb" and so on. Some poems that depict landscapes or human affairs are also written in detail and vividly, such as "Song of Yellow Mountain Pines", "Tianmen Mountain", "Xianxian County Wang Cheng Zhongguo Zhongguo", etc.; some poems that nostalgize the past and praise history can also be distinguished. Come up with new ideas, such as "Yu Zhongsu Temple", "Shouyang Nostalgia", "Fengshan Southern Song Dynasty Gu Nei", etc. Weng Fanggang once wrote a preface to Huang Jingren's collection of poems and commented: "It is a poem that can reach places that have not been created by predecessors. It is bold, sharp, strange and correct, and does not stick to the old routine." Hong Liangji wrote "Xing Zhi" for him, Comments said: "After returning from Hunan, his poems became more and more wonderful, and those who saw it thought that the banished immortal had come back. Later, he changed his style slightly, and became Wang, Li, Gao, Cen, various gentlemen in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and Yang Chengzhai, who died. His achievement is closest to Qinglian (Li Bai). "Wang Chang wrote an epitaph for Huang Jingren and commented on his poem: "From the Han and Wei dynasties, to the Tang and Song dynasties, those who have no effect can clear up the spirit and bring out the essence. The style and creativity of his poems can be seen in his ability to carve deeply and sincerely, and not to copy or plagiarize. The disadvantage is that the mood is relatively sentimental and low-spirited.

Huang Jingren is also good at lyrics, his lyrics are clear and clear, and he is good at line drawing, but he is not subtle enough.
