I. Original text

The water in the city is connected, and the tide is surging wild boats. The bird is surprised, the fruit falls, and the turtle is green.

A thousand rolls of white paper and a glass of cinnabar wine. Nanxuan shed tears, not looking at Yantai.

Second, translation.

The water at the gate hovered around, the tide came and the boat was taken somewhere. Mountain fruit falls, birds fly, turtles swim and duckweeds push out of the water.

I have read many poems, but I am old, I sing to wine, and Zhu Yan is a tree, just like yesterday. Leaning on the south porch and crying silently, you shouldn't get up to see Yantai.

The author's life:

Xu Hun was one of the most influential poets in the late Tang Dynasty. He did not write ancient poems all his life, but specialized in poetic style. His themes are nostalgia and pastoral poetry, while his artistic characteristics are occasional integrity and mastery of poetic rhythm. It's just that the poems mostly describe the scenery of water and rain, and later generations will draw it up as the same name as the poet Du Fu, and evaluate it with "Xu Hun's thousand poems, Du Fu's life worries".
