The city music under the overpass is soft and melodious, half of it goes with the river wind and the other half floats into the clouds.
This kind of music should only be in heaven, where can I hear it several times?
This four-line poem is literally as clear as words, but there have been many objections to its theme. Some people think that it is just a hymn without any implication; Some people think that it is ostensibly praising music, but in fact it contains irony and exhortation. Ironically, the author did not explicitly criticize Hua Qing, but adopted a clever pun. Literally, this is an excellent musical hymn.
The first sentence is "There are more and more silk pipes in Jincheng". Jincheng, namely Jinguancheng, is another name of Chengdu. Silk-fingered stringed instruments; A wind instrument. Silk tubes represent music. Day, here refers to every day. One after another, describing the flow of music is endless. It means that there is an orchestra in Jinguan City, which keeps ringing all day. The word "silk tube" points out the object described in the whole poem. After pointing it out, describe it from various angles. One is to write its continuous, harmonious and intangible music into tangible things with the word "one after another", and vividly write the scene of wind music and string intertwined pursuit.
The second sentence is "half into the river, half into the clouds". It means: the sound of music is half scattered into the river wind and half into the clouds. "River wind" refers to the sound widely spread to the ground; "Into the clouds" refers to the sound rushing into the sky. From the earth to the sky, the sound of music is spreading everywhere. The repeated use of the two "semi-entries" makes the melody circulate smoothly, which complements the music that permeates the universe and has profound interest.
The third and fourth sentences, "This song should only exist in the sky. How many times can people listen to it? " This means that such music can only be found in the sky. How many times can you hear it in the world? The ancients thought that only the fairy music in the sky was the most wonderful. The author regards "this song" as a fairy music in the sky, and writes its different customs incisively and vividly; Then use the news that is rare in the world to further write its preciousness. On the basis of previous realism, these two sentences were written from the imaginary place through imagination, pushing the beauty of this song to a realm that no one can match. The combination of reality and reality and mutual care perfectly show the perfection of music.
There are four sentences in the whole poem. The first two sentences describe music with concrete images, which are real words; The last two sentences boasting about Yue Xian in the sky are daydreams. Because of reality and emptiness, the reality and reality are born together, and the beauty of music is praised to the extreme.
However, this is only a literal meaning, and the implication is meaningful. This can be seen from the words "heaven" and "earth". There is no doubt that this poem praises the advanced music enjoyed by Hua, but if you appreciate it carefully, it contains irony. As a military commander, it is a dereliction of duty for Hua to sing and dance all day after his meritorious service and stop training. The author's satire does not appeal to the literal meaning, but is hidden behind the praise music. It is flickering and confusing, which can make different people see different things.
