Return to China as an official

To be an official, resign and retire. Back home, back home, back home.

A few years ago, someone I knew but didn't have much contact with suddenly met me and asked me rashly, "Are you retired?" ? "There are still 10 years before retirement, but I feel that I have entered the countdown. In particular, my daughter went to work in other places, which made me think about where I would go after retirement.

Our generation ran out of the farm gate, but always felt that their roots were rooted in the village where they raised themselves, and they always wanted to return to the village from time to time after retirement. However, it is conceivable that after a hundred years, the mother will inevitably cut off contact with the village, and her daughter will be far away, and the village will eventually be farther and farther away from us. In fact, fewer and fewer people stick to the village. This reminds me of the ancient retirement system, and I admire the ancient system design.

What happened after the ancients became officials? The country held a farewell ceremony, beating gongs and drums and sending them back to their hometown. "Biography of Shangshu" said: "The doctor is an official at the age of 70, and he is older than the village. The doctor is the father and the scholar is Shao Shi. " Zheng Xuan said: "Ancient people were just officials, but those who were educated in Lu Li." . It means not to be an official, to return home to teach and educate people, and to repay my hometown catalpa. Reading and writing to educate children has become a routine for ancient officials after they became officials.

This system has many advantages.

The first is to solve the problem of one-way flow of talent resources from rural areas to cities. Since urbanization, talents have flowed to cities, the quality of rural population has gone from bad to worse, and the gap between urban and rural areas has narrowed, but the fundamental reason is human factors. If public officials, including civil servants, doctors and engineers and technicians, return to their hometowns after retirement and feed back and radiate their hometowns with ideas, knowledge and technology, what impact and support will it have on the countryside?

Secondly, it is conducive to the construction of new countryside and inhibits rural hollowing out. Public officials always have some savings when they are away from home all their lives. After they became officials, they returned to their original places. First, they build their own homes. In addition, it is necessary to improve the surrounding environment, which will naturally promote rural infrastructure. The state should also increase investment accordingly to create a comfortable living environment for this part of the people who come to the countryside to make room for urban space. When the elderly are in their hometown, women will naturally pay attention to the countryside, the living environment of the elderly and rural life, which invisibly strengthens the connection between the city and the countryside.

Third, it is conducive to the construction of official morality and social order. The rule of law is the choice of stranger society, and the governance of acquaintance society depends on morality, which in turn is conducive to moral cultivation. Those who are officials abroad will eventually return to the countryside where they have lived for generations. For the sake of the ancestors' family voice and the happiness of future generations, we naturally have to pay attention to the cultivation of official voices; When they get along with their neighbors, they will also remain sorry and pay attention to their moral image. The ancient system of returning officials to their nationality, together with the floating official system (you can't be an official in your hometown and stay in one place for a long time) and the bureaucratic system (you don't cultivate private property in your place of work, and the state provides shelter), * * * promoted the official's integrity. In addition, after returning to China, officials will consciously maintain social order from the class attribute, which is conducive to grassroots stability.

Fourth, it is conducive to the new urbanization process and inhibits the spread of urban diseases. Young people want to go to cities, and cities are limited. When public officials retire from cities and make room for young people to display their fists and feet, cities will increase the vitality of mobility. As it is now, the urban population can only enter but not leave, and the vitality of the city cannot be fully exerted.

Finally, it is beneficial for retirees to return to their hometown, return to nature, and live a life of "seeing mountains, seeing water, and remembering to live in homesickness".

At present, the ancient system of floating officials (serving in different places) and bureaucracy has been implemented for many years or is being explored and tried out, but the ancient system of returning officials has not yet attracted attention. Retirees actively help their hometown construction. As long as the policy is appropriate, it is much better to guide them to return to their hometowns to exert their waste heat after retirement than to use their influence on various social groups and enterprises to exert their waste heat and cause the risk of clean government.

Being an official and returning to China requires the policy guidance and support of the state, but of course it cannot be forced. Under the guidance of national policies, as long as we solve the problem of providing for the aged, build an active platform for them, advocate, encourage and guide them, and finally form a social fashion, I believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. In short, we should attach importance to and study the feasibility of returning to China to be an official.

Calculate that retirement is only 10 years, and live a good life on the job carefully.
