Poppy poppies. Falling flowers have danced before the wind (Seven Rhymes)

The flowers are already dancing when the wind blows them, so why bother with the late rain?

Thousands of feet of silk and clear sky, a garden of residual red covered with fragrant earth.

Hand in hand with the diligent flowers, enjoy the cup and the pot.

I often advise beauties not to frown, but I am sentimental and helpless but don’t have wine.

I adapted it because I like it.

Introduction to the work

"Poppy Flowers Dancing Before the Falling Flowers" was created by Ye Mengde and was selected into "Three Hundred Song Poems". This is an impromptu lyrical work, describing the scene of two friends drinking together under the forest birds and flowers after a rain in late spring. The upper column depicts the scenery, and the lower column expresses emotions. "Falling Flowers" and "Dancing before the Wind" can inspire people not to be reconciled to the end of life. The flowers have fallen, and there are "thousands of feet" and "hairsprings" lingering in the clear sky. This is another kind of rhythm of life. Since life, like flowers, cannot last forever, why not join hands and get drunk together under the flowers? But there is no endless banquet in the world, and drinking has its end. I advise beauties not to frown because of this. I am also a passionate person, but I have run out of wine! Live life from nature, taste and chew out your thoughts on life. The words are short but the feelings are long, the words are concise and full of meaning, and it is interesting to taste. The fallen flowers have danced in front of the wind, sending the evening rain again. At dawn, the courtyard is half red, only the clear sky is clear.

Hand in hand with the diligent flowers, we can drink wine in our arms. Beauties don’t need to furrow their eyebrows④, I’m also sentimental and helpless when I’m late for wine⑤.

Translation

The fallen flowers dance in the wind, sending away the wind and rain at dusk. Since early morning, the courtyard is full of flowers blown down by the wind, with only fluttering gossamers flying back and forth in the sky. We used to travel hand in hand in front of flowers and drink with affection. Beauty, don't be sad and sad because of this moment of farewell. I have a deep affection, but when the wine runs out, I feel helpless about the impermanence of life.
