I want to know why my Jinse has fifty strings, and each string has a youthful interval.
Zhuangzi daydreaming, a saint, was bewitched by butterflies, and cuckoo crowed in the imperial spring.
Mermaids shed pearl-like tears on the moon-green sea, and the blue fields breathed their jade to the sun.
A moment that should last forever has come and gone before I know it.
The interpretation of this poem can be divided into two categories:
First, I think it's a poem mourning his wife Wang, and the first couplet is "respect". I watched Motome play 50 stringed instruments and felt moved by the scene. The second couplet is "metaphor", which means that Zhuang Zhou killed his wife into a butterfly and Du Fu wept blood; The triple is "illusion", for which Pearl shed tears and Baoyu was sad; The end is connected with "feeling", love is gone, and memory is disconsolate!
Second, it is thought that this is the poet's recollection of the lost years. The first couplet is "Qi", which means fifty years of life and fifty strings of musical instruments; The second couplet is more than "bearing", and life will come to an end unconsciously; The triple is "turning", using pearls and Baoyu as a metaphor for talent; In the end, the combination is "combination", the years make people old, and everything is disconsolate!
I really don't agree with the above two interpretations. Here I write out my feelings and discuss them with all interested friends. Please give me your advice.
I think to understand the true meaning of a poem, we must first find the finishing touch of the poem. The real meaning of this poem is naturally in the last two sentences, "and a moment that should last forever has come and gone unconsciously." These two sentences show the poet's memory of the lost years, but they are full of helplessness and dismay! But what is the poet remembering? What do you mean full of helplessness? Then it is necessary to analyze the foreshadowing in detail.
In the first couplet, "I don't know why my Jinse has fifty strings, each with its flowery piano product is a youthful interval", the string of guqin is fifty, and later it evolved into twenty-five. This is an ancient system. The fifty here is actually just an imaginary number, and there is no need to verify whether it is really fifty. For no reason, the original meaning is no reason, no reason. Chinese New Year is supposed to be a wonderful time, that is, a youthful time. I think this should refer to many past events that have happened in the past few years. This article uses a 50-string musical instrument to describe the past years. "Jinse, why are you fifty strings?" Every one is like a past event that happened in the past. Whether you like it or not, I will meet you one by one and pass you by. "
In the second couplet, "Saint Zhuangzi daydreaming, bewitched by butterflies, cuckoo crows in the spring of emperors", the story of Zhuang Zhou's dream butterfly can be found in "Zhuangzi's Theory of Everything": "Yesterday, Zhuang Zhou's dream was a butterfly, lifelike. ..... suddenly it feels like a week. I don't know if Zhou Zhimeng is a butterfly. Is the butterfly's dream Zhouyi? " That is, Zhuang Zhou turned into a butterfly in his dream, and when he woke up, he found himself still Zhuang Zhou, not realizing that he had dreamed of a butterfly or that the butterfly had seen himself. Wang Di's legend can be found in Cosmic Tales: "Du Yu, the king of Shu, was named Wang Di, and later died of Zen and became a branch". Wang Di, the legendary monarch of Shu in the late Eastern Zhou Dynasty, was named Du Yu. Later, the Zen position retired, and unfortunately the country died. After death, the soul turned into a bird. As for the bleeding in the mouth, its voice is sad and touching, named Du Fu. Here, Zhuang Zhou and become a butterfly are both used to describe impermanence and life is like a dream! The cuckoo's crying blood is a metaphor for his loss of life, and the cuckoo's wail is used to express his inner depression. The whole passage should be understood as: "things are impermanent, life is like a dream, I cry, why is fate so unfair to me?"
Triple "Mermaids drop pearl-like tears into the moon-green sea, and the blue fields breathe their jade to the sun", pearls are born in mussels, and mussels lie in the sea. Whenever the bright moon is quiet, the clam opens to raise pearls on the moon, and the pearls get moonlight and the aurora shines. And why is Zhu crying? Just because on this moonlit night, I should have absorbed the essence of the sea and the bright moon, but now I have become a plaything in the hands of ordinary people. How can I not shed tears? Dai Shulun once said: "The beauty of the poet, such as the warm sky in Lantian and the rich jade that produces smoke, cannot but be placed before it is imminent. "Although Liangyu smokes to show people, laity does not see it; Southeast of Lantian, Shaanxi Province, is a famous place for producing jade. It should be added just for the sake of neatness. This passage describes the boredom of the poet's talent. I am a pearl, which should have absorbed the essence of the bright moon and dazzled the world, but now I have fallen into the hands of laymen, so I have no choice but to grow old. Although I have tried my best to show my talent with "rising smoke", no one recognizes it. Alas!
The ending couplet "and a moment that should last forever have come and gone before I know it" is the crowning touch. "This feeling" echoes the first sentence "Flower Year", revealing the meaning of the whole poem. Life is short. When I am getting old, I can't help thinking of my experience. Between confusion, time flies, although I am brilliant, although I work hard, but the results are all in vain, no one can appreciate themselves, only helplessly sigh. It's over. What else can we do? Just as a memory. But at this point, my heart is full of melancholy. Write a poem as an expression!
Throughout the poem, combined with Li Shangyin's life experience, he was inexplicably involved in the dispute between Niu and Li with his unparalleled talent, and finally failed to serve the world. From the expectation of seeking an official by talent to the confusion and indignation when falling into the quagmire of party struggle, and even the regret when trying to escape, it is vividly expressed in the poem. So I think this poem should be an expression of Li Shangyin's understanding and feelings about social life at that time after decades of official career.
