Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter in Nanjing

Nanjing is a city with outstanding people and picturesque scenery. As early as the Ming Dynasty, it was said that Jinling had 48 scenic spots. You can watch "Niutou Fireworks" in spring, "Zhongfu Qingyun" in summer, "Qixia Scenic Area" in autumn and "Li Shicheng Snow" with four distinct seasons in winter, which is beautiful. "Thousands of miles of warblers sing green and reflect red, and the water town is full of wine flags." As Du Mu said, spring is the most poetic season in Nanjing all year round. Plums in Meihua Mountain are in full bloom, and willows by Xuanwu Lake are in bud, so that the streets and alleys of Nanjing are immersed in endless romance and flowers. Summer in Nanjing is a well-deserved "scorching sun", which makes the title of "Furnace Nanjing" worthy of the name. Nevertheless, the summer in Nanjing also has a lovely side: the trees on the Purple Mountain are lush and look like a huge emerald at first glance, while in Xuanwu Lake, it is: "The next day, the lotus leaves are infinite and the lotus flowers are different colors." Don't have a flavor. However, if Nanjing is the most charming season, it must be autumn. Autumn in Nanjing is a colorful world: the golden ginkgo and the flaming maple leaves are in sharp contrast, which makes people amazed, especially Qixia Mountain, where the maple leaves are like fire, which is a "fairyland on earth" that makes people linger back and forth! Last time the maple leaves were in full bloom, my parents wanted to take me to Qixia Mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the maple leaves. At ten o'clock in the morning, we came to the gate of Qixia Mountain and saw "groups" of maple trees standing there, as if welcoming us, looking like pieces of red clouds from afar. Walking into the mountains, the forest was like fire, which made me think: "Did this maple leaf pass through the hands of a master painter?" I can't help but pick a leaf and observe it carefully: it's all red, with a slightly green tip and five or six leaflets, like a small slap! My parents and I are still curious about this maple leaf, and several huge ginkgo trees next to the ancient temple once again attracted me. They are like works of art made of pure gold, glittering with gold. The moving apricot leaves, like handfuls of small fans, disperse the summer heat, and like small yellow skirts, wear out the splendor of autumn ... In Nanjing, winter is also a beautiful season, although it is not colorful in spring or golden in autumn, but it has its own charm. Whenever this time, it is the happiest time for children: having snowball fights, making snowmen … let winter be immersed in laughter. Colorful spring, tree-lined summer, crisp autumn and snowy winter add different colors to Nanjing!
