Wang Zhaojun (wáng zhāo jūn), (about 52 BC - 20 BC)
Together with Xi Shi, Diao Chan and Yang Yuhuan, they are known as the four beauties in ancient China. Among them, Xi Shi At the top of the list is the embodiment and synonym of beauty. The four beauties enjoy the "appearance of a woman shy of the moon, and the appearance of a fish sinking into ashes". "Closing moon, shameful flowers, sinking fish, falling wild geese" are historical allusions composed of wonderful stories. "Closing the Moon" tells the story of Diao Chan worshiping the moon. "Shame on the Flowers" tells the story of Concubine Yang when she was watching flowers. "Shen Yu" tells the story of Xi Shi's time in the sand. "Luoyan" is the story of Zhaojun's departure from the fortress.
Wang Zhaojun, surnamed Wang and Mingqiang, was from Zigui, Nanjun (now Xingshan County, Hubei Province). The Huns called Han Xie Shanyu Yan's family. She was selected into Yeting during the reign of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty as a "good family son". At that time, Hu Hanxie came to court, and the emperor gave him five daughters. Wang Zhaojun had been in the palace for several years, but could not see the emperor. He was filled with sorrow and resentment, so he asked Ye Ting to order him to do it. Hu Hanxie was about to bid farewell to the assembly, and the emperor summoned five daughters to show him. Zhaojun "was handsome and handsome, and the Han Palace was bright. His shadow was wandering around, and his hair was moving around. The emperor was shocked when he saw it, and wanted to keep him, but it was difficult to break his promise, so he broke up with the Xiongnu." (Book of the Later Han Dynasty, Volume 89 "Biography of the Southern Xiongnu" 》)
Wang Zhaojun was born in Baoping Village, Zigui County, Nanjun (now Zhaojun Village, Xingshan County, Hubei Province) around 52 BC. In the third year of Yong'an (A.D. 260), Emperor Jing divided Zigui into the northern boundary of Xingshan County, and Xiangxi was the boundary of the town. King Qiang of the Han Dynasty was from this town, so he was the county of Yun Zhaojun. His father, Wang Rang, had a daughter in his old age and regarded her as the apple of his eye, and her brothers and sister-in-law also doted on her. Wang Zhaojun was born with beauty and extraordinary intelligence. He was proficient in playing music, chess, calligraphy and painting. "My eyebrows are unparalleled and can make flowers shy in the forest." Zhaojun's peerless talents and appearance spread throughout Nanjun along the Xiangxi River and reached the capital. In 36 BC, Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty announced to the world that he was recruiting girls from all over the world. Wang Zhaojun is Nanjun’s first choice. Emperor Yuan issued an edict, ordering him to choose an auspicious day to enter Beijing. His father Wang Ranyun said: "My daughter is still too young to obey orders." Unfortunately, it is difficult to disobey the sacred orders. In mid-spring of 36 BC, Wang Zhaojun tearfully bid farewell to his parents and fellow villagers. He boarded a carved dragon and phoenix official boat along the Xiangxi River, entered the Yangtze River, crossed the Han River, and crossed the Qinling Mountains. It took three months and arrived in the capital Chang'an in the early summer of the same year to stay in Yeting. imperial edict. Legend has it that after Wang Zhaojun entered the palace, she refused to bribe the painter Mao Yanshou because she relied on her beauty, so Mao Yanshou put a mole on her portrait. Zhaojun was demoted to the cold palace for three years and had no chance to meet him. In 33 BC, Hu Hanxie Shanyu, the leader of the northern Huns, took the initiative to come to the Han Dynasty, proclaimed himself a vassal to the Han Dynasty, and asked for a marriage to make a lasting friendship. Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty summoned all the concubines in the harem, and Wang Zhaojun stepped forward and responded generously to the imperial edict. At Huhanxie's farewell meeting, Zhaojun was so beautiful and well-decorated that Emperor Yuan was shocked. He didn't know that there was such a beautiful person in the harem and wanted to keep her, but it was hard to break his promise, so he rewarded her with 28,000 pieces of brocade and silk and 16,000 pieces of catkins. Thousands of catties of gold, jade and other valuables were sent personally to Chang'an for more than ten miles. Surrounded by teams of chariots and fine horses, Wang Zhaojun shouldered the important task of marrying Han and Huns. He left Chang'an, left Tongguan, crossed the Yellow River, and crossed Yanmen. It took more than a year. In the early summer of the second year, he arrived in Mobei and was attacked by the Xiongnu. The people welcomed her grandly, and she was named "Ning Hu's family", which meant that the Xiongnu's peace was guaranteed when they had a Han woman as "the family" (the king's wife).
After Zhaojun came out of the fortress, the Han and Hungarian nationalities were united and harmonious, and the country was peaceful and peaceful. "The border town was closed, the cattle and horses were wild, there were no barking dogs for three generations, and the Li Shu people forgot about the war", showing a prosperous and peaceful scene. In 31 BC, Huhanxie Chanyu died, leaving behind a son named Yitu Zhiyashi, who later became the king of Xiongnu Youri Zhu. At that time, Wang Zhaojun put the overall situation first and endured great grievances. In accordance with the Xiongnu custom of "after the death of the father, the wife follows the stepmother", she married Hu Hanxie's eldest son, Fu Zhulei Shanyu Diao Tao Mogao, and gave birth to two more daughters. The girl's name is Xubu, and the second girl's name should be Yu Juci ("Juci" means princess). After Wang Zhaojun's death, he was buried generously in the southern suburbs of today's Hohhot City. His tomb is located in the Daqing Mountains and near the Yellow River. Later generations called it "Green Tomb".

Xi Shi has big feet and invented the foot-covering skirt.
Diao Chan has one big eye and one small one, which should be more obvious. Although everyone has big and small eyes, you wouldn’t be able to tell if it wasn’t obvious, but Diao Chan’s guess is that it is quite obvious.
Wang Zhaojun had shoulder pads, so he invented shoulder pads.
Concubine Yang is okay. She looks normal on the surface and fits the aesthetics of the Tang Dynasty. She is fat and only 1.5 meters tall. But I think what everyone doesn’t know is that Concubine Yang has body odor. , so she especially likes bathing.
Beauties also have flaws, and the aesthetic values ??of ancient people are different from those of modern people. Therefore, the so-called four beauties in ancient times are not necessarily real beauties in modern times.
Edit this paragraph to avoid the taboo name change
In the Jin Dynasty, in order to avoid the taboo of Jin Taizu Sima Zhao, she was renamed Mingjun, and was known as "Mingfei" in history.
Wang Zhaojun’s historical achievements are not only that she took the initiative to go out to the fortress to make peace, but more importantly, after she left the fortress, she reconciled the Han Dynasty and the Huns. National unity among ethnic groups is in the interests of the Han and Xiongnu people. She, her children, grandchildren and in-laws made great contributions to the harmony, amity and unity between the Hu and Han peoples. Therefore, she was praised by history. The Yuan Dynasty poet Zhao Jie believed that Wang Zhaojun's contribution was no less than that of the famous Han Dynasty general Huo Qubing. The story of Zhaojun has become an enduring story of national unity in the history of our country.

The eldest son of the Dalan clan, Diaotao Mogao, inherited the position of Chanyu. According to the etiquette and customs of the Xiongnu, Wang Zhaojun became Diaotao Mogao. wife. The young Chanyu loved Wang Zhaojun even more, and their married life was very loving and sweet. They gave birth to two daughters in succession, the eldest daughter was named Yun, and the second daughter was named Dang. Later, they were married to Xiongnu nobles.
Mo Gao and Wang Zhaojun, who carved pottery, passed away after eleven years of married life. This was the first year of Hongjia, Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty. Wang Zhaojun was already thirty-two years old and in his prime. There is no need to be tied by marriage anymore, and he can participate in the political activities of the Xiongnu in his free time. It has indeed produced a lot of communication and reconciliation effects on the friendly relationship between the Xiongnu and the Han Dynasty!
Wang Zhaojun’s brother was granted the title of Marquis by the court, and was sent on many missions to the Huns to meet his sister. Wang Zhaojun’s two daughters also went to Chang’an and served in the palace to serve the Empress Dowager. The Empress Dowager was the empress of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty. She had a famous nephew, Wang Mang, who first gained a false reputation by being humble and serving as a corporal, and then played a so-called "concession system" in the eras of Yao, Shun and Yu to seize the political power of the Western Han Dynasty and establish the "New". It is a pity that the Xiongnu Chanyu thought, "If you are not a descendant of the Liu family, how can you be the emperor of China?" As a result, the frontiers were rising one after another, and the chaos was endless.
Seeing the peaceful years he created destroyed, Wang Zhaojun died in resentment, desolation and despair, and was buried on the south bank of the Dahei River. The cemetery still exists today. It is said that on the bank of the Yellow River fifty miles southwest of Baotou, Inner Mongolia, After autumn, the grass outside the fortress turns yellow and withered, but the grass on Wang Zhaojun's tomb is green, so it is called "Green Tomb".
There is also another explanation for "Green Tomb": "Jun Kuo Oupi Bi": "There is no vegetation in Wang Zhaojun's tomb. Looking at it from a distance, it is dark and green, so it is called Qing Tomb." "Saibei Chronicles" "You" also said: "There are many white sands outside the Great Wall, and the air reflects them. All the mountains, forests and villages are all dark in the sky. If thick ink is splashed, the smoke from Zhaojun's tomb is hazy and can be seen dozens of miles away, so it is called Qingzhong." /p>
There have always been many poems mentioning "Green Tomb". For example, Bai Juyi's "There are no green tombs, but pedestrians are pouring wine." Du Mu's "Long water flows in front of the green tombs, and the dusk clouds and autumn are at the foot of Yanzhi Mountain."
Wang Zhaojun is also known as "Ming Dynasty" in history. "Concubine" originated from the Western Jin Dynasty. In order to avoid Sima Zhao's taboo, the name "Zhaojun" was changed to "Mingjun". Later, the term "Mingfei" gradually became known.

For more than 1,900 years, Wang Zhaojun, a mountain girl who grew up in the Chushui area of ??Bashan, caused a stir in the hearts of literati of all ages and stirred up the Chinese literary world. This is precisely because the aura of the intersection of Bachu culture in the south and Chinese culture in the north is projected on the creative body of Zhaojun, reflecting a dazzling brilliance.
Dong Biwu, one of the founders of New China, wrote a poem called Qijue for Wang Zhaojun. This poem made a summary evaluation of the historical Zhaojun and also praised Zhaojun’s thoughts, insights, and actions. . The poem is: "Zhaojun has a long history, and Hu Hanhe has seen it personally. The poets express their own feelings, and it is always in vain to dance with words and ink." From then on, Wang Zhaojun's face was full of tears and sorrow, and he became the image of a happy and harmonious messenger of the nation. Appearing in front of people expressed the desire of people of all ethnic groups in the country to unite.
Du Fu:

Li Bai:

Both of them expressed infinite pity and sigh for Zhaojun's departure. In addition:
The Han moon still rises from the East China Sea, and the concubine Ming will not marry in the west;
The Yan branch is always cold and snowy, and the eyebrows are haggard and have no wild sand;
The lack of gold in life is a waste of pictures, and death leaves green graves to make people sigh.
Wang Anshi also chanted poems about Wang Zhaojun. He was innovative and unconventional. He believed that Wang Zhaojun was not necessarily a bad thing, such as:

Reflecting on the front and back, judging emotions with reason, and writing from the perspective of human nature, people can better understand Wang Zhaojun’s misery before and after leaving the fortress, but also another kind of confused mood, and it is also not without the value of life. Another implementation. The tombstone of "Green Tomb" is also engraved with:
He returned to Shuomo and served in the army for several generations;
In terms of merit and fame, he is almost the same as Wei Huo.
This poem includes "The fruit of the marriage will make the beacon at the border disappear, who is allowed to marry in Luge." Finally, there is a fair conclusion about Wang Zhaojun's marriage.
Wang Zhaojun’s son Youzhuri, whose lineage became increasingly powerful, turned against the Eastern Han Dynasty, was pursued by Dou Xian, fled westward, crossed the Congling Mountains and entered Europe, occupied the territory of the Goths, and caused the collapse of the Roman Empire. , established the powerful Hun Empire on the European continent, which later became Hungary, Serbia and other countries.
The story of Zhaojun’s departure from the fortress has been circulated for two thousand years. In the play "Autumn in the Palace of the Han Dynasty", Zhaojun seems to have escaped the misery of the palace and found happiness after marrying Ji Houshan in the name of a princess. However, the fact is that after the death of her second husband Diao Tao, her request to return to the Han Dynasty was not accepted. She agreed and was ordered to marry her ex-husband's son. Years of grievances were too deep to be resolved, so she took poison and died. Zhaojun also has poems handed down from generation to generation:
"...
The mountains are high and the rivers are turbulent.
The father is close to the mother, and the road is long.
< p>Wuhu is so sad.”Edit this paragraph’s story of Wang Zhaojun
Wang Zhaojun’s name is Qiang, from the Western Han Dynasty. Sister Gui of Nanjun County (now Xingshan County, Hubei Province) was born. Together with Xi Shi, Yang Guifei and Diao Chan, they are the four beauties in ancient China.
Wang Zhaojun was born in the famous Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, in a place called Zigui. The river here is fast and roaring day and night. There are cliffs on both sides of the bank and strange rocks. During the Warring States Period, a famous figure lived here. That is Qu Yuan.
Wang Zhaojun was born during the glorious and prosperous age of the Han Dynasty. The people had plenty of food and clothing, but Zigui was relatively remote. Wang Zhaojun’s father, with two sons and a daughter, and his wife, farmed a pitifully small area. On a piece of hillside land, they grow some miscellaneous grains to make a living, and still live a hard life of barely enough food and clothing. Sometimes he also pulls fiber for the ships going up the river to supplement the family income.
Although life is hard, the whole family is happy and content with the world. More importantly, they can always maintain the traditions of their ancestors and never forget that they were once a respected Shili family. Wang Zhaojun has an older brother named Wang Xin and a younger brother named Wang Sa. It is not her turn to contribute to the work. In addition to following her mother to learn nvhong, she also reads and practices calligraphy under the supervision of her father. Although she grew up in a remote country, But she has a ladylike demeanor.
In the first year of Emperor Jianzhao of the Han Dynasty, he issued an edict to recruit beauties from all over the world to replenish his harem. Wang Zhaojun was twenty-eight years old, like an orchid in an empty valley, so he was naturally selected into the palace.
Thousands of beauties were selected from all over the country for the palace. The emperor could not meet them all. First, the painter Mao Yanshou painted a portrait of each and presented it to the emperor. Those who came from a wealthy family, or had relatives and friends in the capital to support them, would use various channels to bribe the painters. However, Wang Zhaojun was from a humble family and relied on his beauty to be the most beautiful. He could neither bribe nor deceive the emperor, which made Mao Yanshou feel very unhappy. Not only did she look very mediocre, but she also had a huge black dot on her cheek. When Emperor Han Yuan saw Wang Zhaojun's portrait, he was disgusted and thought she was an unreal woman. Therefore, for five years, In the past, she was still a palace maid waiting for an imperial edict.
Five years is not a short time, and it is a little longer than the time it takes to study for an undergraduate degree in a university now. In addition to taking on some light jobs in the palace, Wang Zhaojun had too much free time to read and write, sing and dance, study music and painting, and constantly enrich and hone himself. However, when I dream back at midnight, I can't help but feel desolate and lonely. The beautiful years are disappearing inch by inch. I don't know when I will be successful. How can I repay my parents for their upbringing?
The fallen leaves are falling again. Lost paths, late autumn when autumn insects are whining, cold rain knocks on the window, and the solitary lamp and cold quilt are most likely to arouse people's reverie. Thinking of the river in Xiling Gorge, and even the five-day happy reunion of the family, I feel so sad. I picked up the pipa in my hand and hummed while playing. What I couldn't sing was the nostalgia:
The most heartbreaking thing is the first watch of the day. My parents love me like a treasure. It's hard to find peace and happiness at home. Nowadays, I have everything. , pearls are beautiful and new, lambs and wine can be enjoyed endlessly, and memories of home are filled with tears.
In the second watch, I thought about it carefully and couldn’t bear to forget my family for three thousand miles. Who can I rely on for my parents in old age? There is no news from the palace. I miss Zhaojun day and night. I think about it day and night. I just hope to go to Beijing to see the court. .
Midnight, midnight. At dusk and moonlit night, I am suffering from sorrow, and I am lonely and unable to sleep under the tent; I miss you endlessly, my life is cut short, and my spring, summer, autumn and winter are wasted, and it is pitiable to be infatuated.
In the fourth watch, there is suffering, misery and misery, tears welling up in my eyes, my body and life are heartbreaking; I hate that my life is extended, my brush deceives the king, I am not called to be a phoenix, I am left in the palace and suffer the desolation.
During the fifth watch, dreams are hard to come by. The inner palace is deserted and a good night is wasted. Parents daydream about their daughter, and the daughter also misses her family. There is nothing to be done in such a fate, and I sigh that everything in life is determined.
This is the famous "Fifth Watch Lament". Full of resentment and infinite sentimentality, mixed with strong nostalgia and a trace of longing.
Wang Zhaojun passed the long nights and day after day in silence, feeling depressed, "I lamented that everything in life is determined." However, in fact, destiny is always "determined." It contains "undetermined". In the first year of Emperor Jingning of the Han Yuan Dynasty, Hu Hanxie, the Chanyu of the Southern Xiongnu, came to perform pilgrimage. Wang Zhaojun's fate inadvertently underwent a breakthrough change.
It is March in the Central Plains when spring flowers are blooming, but outside the Great Wall it is still a season of freezing cold winds. It is really like "the peach blossoms behind the horse, the snow in front of the horse, teaching people how not to look back." Wang Zhaojun finally found his way in the long journey She fell ill on the way and had to temporarily stop moving forward. During the period of recuperation, she thought of her parents and brothers, as well as the Emperor of the Han Dynasty who had been with her for three days and three nights. So she lit up the lamp and put on her clothes, wrote with tears and ink, and wrote a letter to Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty. :
I am fortunate enough to be a concubine, saying that my body is dependent on the sun and the moon, and I will have a lingering fragrance after death, but I am frustrated and live in a foreign land. If you sincerely sacrifice your life to repay your master, how dare you pity yourself? But it is a pity that the country has dethroned the emperor and moved him to a humble worker. Looking south to the Han Dynasty, it only adds to the sorrow. He has parents and brothers, but His Majesty has little pity for them!
After leaving Yanmen Pass, a large group of Xiongnu knights, felt carts, and orchids came to greet him. When they arrived at the royal court, they saw geese falling on the flat sand and yellow dust billowing. There are cattle and sheep everywhere, and there is endless green grass. The tents were decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations, and the whole day was full of joy. Hu Hanxie Shanyu named her Ninghulan (the queen of Anninghu land) and made every possible accommodation to win her favor. However, the screams of Hujia, the galloping horses, the fishy food and the smell of mutton, and the wind and moon in foreign countries made Wang Zhaojun always full of longing for his motherland. The so-called:
Han envoys often send messages when they return to the court, when will the gold be redeemed?
If the king asks about the color of his concubine, it is better to do it when he is in the palace.
After Wang Zhaojun left the country, Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty took her parents and brothers to Chang'an according to her wishes, and gave them a house and land for proper resettlement. After Hu Hanxie obtained the stunning beauty from the Han court, he was very happy. He drank and had fun all day long, and sent envoys to send a large number of jades, jewelry and horses to repay the special favor of the Han emperor. He even wrote a letter wishing to protect the country and the people, please Stop the soldiers on the border to rest the people of the emperor. Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty declined his kindness after reading the "Ten Don'ts" written by the doctor Hou Ying.
Just three months after Wang Zhaojun arrived at the Xiongnu court, Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, out of thoughts and annoyance, lay on his sickbed until early summer, and died in the dazzling light of durian flowers.
In the second year, the first year of the founding of Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty, Wang Zhaojun gave birth to a son for Huhanxie Shanyu, named Yidu Zhiya Shi, and was named King Youri Zhu. In 2000, the old Hu Hanxie passed away. This year Wang Zhaojun was twenty-four years old.
The eldest son of the Dayan family, Diao Tao Mogao, inherited the position of Chanyu. According to the etiquette and customs of the Xiongnu, Wang Zhaojun became the wife of Diao Tao Mogao.
Wang Zhaojun was thirty-five years old and in his prime. There is no longer any need for marriage, and free time to participate in the political activities of the Xiongnu. It has indeed played a lot of communication and reconciliation role in the friendly relationship between the Xiongnu and the Han court!
Wang Zhaojun’s brother was imprisoned by the imperial court He was granted the title of Marquis and was sent on many missions to the Huns to meet his sister. Wang Zhaojun's two daughters also went to Chang'an and served in the palace to serve the Empress Dowager. This Empress Dowager was the empress of Emperor Yuan of Han Dynasty. She had a famous The nephew Wang Mang first gained a false reputation by serving as a corporal, and then he played a so-called "concession system" in the eras of Yao, Shun and Yu to seize the political power of the Western Han Dynasty and establish the "New". It is a pity that the Xiongnu Chanyu thought, "If you are not a descendant of the Liu family, how can you be the emperor of China?" As a result, frontiers spread one after another, causing endless troubles.
Seeing the peaceful years he created destroyed, Wang Zhaojun died in resentment, desolation and despair, and was buried on the south bank of the Dahei River.
The relationship between the Han Dynasty and the Xiongnu: During the reign of Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty, the Xiongnu nobles competed for power, and their power gradually declined. The five Chanyus separated and attacked each other endlessly. Among them, Huhanxie Chanyu was defeated by his brother Zhizhi Chanyu. Hu Hanxie was determined to make peace with the Han Dynasty and met Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty in person.
When the countries in the Western Regions heard that the Xiongnu had reconciled with the Han Dynasty, they also rushed to deal with the Han Dynasty. After Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty died, his son Liu Shi came to the throne and became Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty. The Zhizhi Chanyu of the Xiongnu invaded various countries in the Western Region and killed the envoys sent by the Han Dynasty. The Han Dynasty sent troops to attack Kangju and killed the Chanyu Zhizhi. Zhizhi Chanyu died, and Huhanxie Chanyu's status became stable. In 33 BC, Huhanxie Shanyu came to Chang'an again and asked for a marriage. Emperor Yuan promised.
Resolutely go out of the fortress: The Han Dynasty and the Xiongnu had to choose a princess or a daughter of the clan to get married. This time, Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty decided to choose a maid for him. He ordered people to go to the harem to spread the message: "Whoever wants to go to the Huns will be treated as a princess." The maids in the harem were all selected from among the people. As soon as they entered When they entered the palace, they were like birds in a cage, and they all longed to be released from the palace one day. But when I heard that I wanted to leave my country and go to the Xiongnu, I was not happy. There was a palace maid named Wang Qiang, also named Zhaojun, who was beautiful and knowledgeable. Volunteer to go to the Huns to make peace. Emperor Yuan chose a day for Huhanxie Chanyu and Wang Zhaojun to get married in Chang'an. When Hu Hanxie Chanyu and Wang Zhaojun thanked Emperor Han Yuan for their kindness, Emperor Han Yuan saw that Zhaojun was beautiful and generous, which made the Han Palace enchanted.
Remorse unknown to the person in the painting: Legend has it that Emperor Han Yuan returned to the inner palace and became more and more upset the more he thought about it. He then asked someone to take out the portrait of Zhaojun from the portraits of the palace ladies and look at it. Although the appearance is somewhat similar, it is not as cute as Zhaojun himself.
It turns out that after the maids entered the palace, they generally did not see the emperor. Instead, a painter painted a portrait and sent it to the emperor for selection. There was a painter named Mao Yanshou. When he was painting portraits of the palace ladies, the palace ladies would give him some gifts, and he would make the paintings more beautiful. Wang Zhaojun was unwilling to give gifts, so Mao Yanshou did not paint Wang Zhaojun's beauty realistically. Emperor Yuan of Han Dynasty was furious and killed Mao Yanshou.
He Fan saved the country: Wang Zhaojun left Chang'an under the escort of Han Dynasty and Huns officials. She rode a horse, braved the biting cold wind, all the way to the Xiongnu, and became the Huhan Xie Chanyu's clan. Named "Ning Hulan", hoping that she could bring peace and tranquility to the Xiongnu, Zhaojun stayed away from his hometown and settled in the Xiongnu for a long time. She advised Hu Hanxie Chanyu not to start a war, and also passed on the culture of the Central Plains to the Xiongnu. After this, the Huns and the Han Dynasty lived in harmony and maintained peace for more than sixty years. What is commendable is that after Huhanxie Chanyu died, she "followed Hu customs" (※ adopted the step marriage system) and married the eldest son of Huhanxie Chanyu's Dalan family, although this was inconsistent with the ethical concepts of the Central Plains. Although she resisted, she considered the overall situation and cherished the friendship between the Han and the Huns. Wang Zhaojun gave birth to a boy and two girls in the Xiongnu. The year and place of Zhaojun's death are not recorded in history books. This is the famous story of "Zhaojun leaving the fortress" in history. In Chinese classical literature, the first mention of Zhaojun's tomb was "Tongdian" written by Du You of the Tang Dynasty.
"Bodhisattva Barbarian" - Zhaojun's Resent
(Man Xueying)
Looking far away from my hometown, I remember each other, the black eyebrows are thin and the waist is delicate and weak.
The willow silk is fragrant and the grass is miserable, and the piano is played with tears in my eyes.
A song of Zhaojun's resentment expresses one's homesickness.
When can you come back? The wind is gentle on my back.
Appendix: Modern people's poems chanting Wang Zhaojun
"Passing the Hometown of Wang Zhaojun"
The spring river and the autumn water always flow, and Wang Qiang's famous name will remain famous forever.
The peach blossoms of the Han family are in full bloom, and the green tombs of Qingxi River are as fragrant.

< p>[Story Summary]In 36 BC, the border between Han and Hungary was in turmoil, and the relationship between Han and Hungary was very tense.

Loves: One is Wang Huai, a young hunter who had his childhood sweetheart, Zhang Zixian, who was the county magistrate of his sister's hometown at that time, and Wang Huai's brother, Wang Dun, the general of the imperial court who returned to his hometown to visit relatives.
Wang Huai was young and chaotic. Although he was smart, he didn't want to make progress. Although Qian'er wanted to be a subordinate, he hated her for not trying to improve herself. Wang Huai was so angry that he went to the frontier to join the army.
Zhang Zixian was a county magistrate and was very popular, but because he used his power to gain influence, he was even rejected by Qian'er.
Wang Dun left his hometown because he joined the army when he was young. He was just a friend of Qian'er and never revealed his feelings. Moreover, when he learned that his parents had already arranged for Qian'er to be married to Wang Huai, he retreated blindly and only regarded his care as love. like.
When there is a beauty pageant in the palace, the emperor's mandate is great, the girls are beautiful, and they can choose freely.
Wang Dun and Zhang Zixian were both in love with Qiang'er, so they each used their own tricks and tried every means to help Qian'er escape the catastrophe. In the "love" of the three men, each with their own "obstacles", Qian'er had a strange thought: the emperor "at least has some courage, and he doesn't care what his father, mother and brother think", and he was full of energy and resolutely stood up. When you go out, you should be recruited into the palace, and you will be waiting in the courtyard to be recruited.
Qian'er entered the palace and changed her name to Zhaojun. Unexpectedly, after entering the palace, he was first jealous of the palace maids, then tricked by Mao Yanshou, and even plotted by the queen. Not only was he unable to see the emperor, but he was thrown into the cold palace in one fell swoop.
In 33 BC, the Han and Hungarian dynasties were both burdened by three hundred years of hostility, and wanted to seek peace and nourish the Yuan Dynasty. The leader of the Han Dynasty, Hu Hanxie, came to the Han Dynasty to visit the Yuan Emperor and said sincerely, "I would like to be the son-in-law of the Han family." ", and asked the Han Emperor to marry his daughter, and the Yuan Emperor was so pleased that he graciously agreed.
The queen did not want her own daughter to marry far away, so she asked Emperor Yuan to find a daughter in the palace to "give her the body of a princess" to marry on her behalf. Sheng Zhao issued the order, but no one dared to respond. Zhaojun learned about it in the cold palace and became stubborn. Get up and accept the call decisively.
Before leaving the fortress, Zhaojun studied Hungarian language and customs from Du Longqi (former Xiongnu general and prisoner of the Han Dynasty) before he could meet Emperor Yuan. Emperor Yuan was shocked by his beauty, loved his intelligence, and rewarded him. Zhaojun wanted to change his original intention and wanted to stay by his side as a concubine. "My daughter has lived in her hometown for more than ten years and has never been married. She has been in the palace for many years and has been unable to see you. At this time, she proposed to Hanxie alone. The day when the little girl asked to marry far away, she already felt that Huhanxie was created by the old man Yuexia. When she heard Master Dulongqi talking about the Huns, she even felt that it was in line with the little girl's wishes. So, if the little girl doesn't marry Huhanxie, who will she marry? What?" Finally, he persuaded Emperor Yuan to marry far away.
After that, Zhaojun, as a member of the Ninghulan clan who was favored by Huhanxie, showed his wisdom, bravery and virtuousness in the court of Xiongnu Shanyu, accepted Xiong customs, spread Han customs, and assisted the king. He nursed young children, rectified the law and evil, eliminated the hostility of the "Chan family" (Chanyu's concubines), resolved the internal strife of the Chanyu brothers fighting for power, and during the chaotic war encounters and nomadic migrations, he successively repaid Wang Dun and persuaded him to return to the king. She conceives and rescues Zhang Zixian, winning the undying respect of these three burly men who love her deeply. Until Huhanxie's death, in compliance with the Huns' customs, they married Zhulei Chanyu (son of Huhanxie), who took the throne. He gave birth to children and devoted his life to the marriage between Han and Hungary.
Zhaojun died in Shanyuting at the age of fifty. The Xiongnu built a high tomb for her. The grass on the tomb was lush, the cattle and sheep did not eat it, the frost did not wither, and it remained green all year round. It is called "Green Tomb". It's been two thousand years now.

Preface
History cannot record Zhaojun's every frown or smile, or even his love for her There are only a few descriptions. Who understands Zhaojun's thoughts? Even if you understand it, how can you verify it? As a result, Zhaojun was no longer the real Zhaojun. She became a dream and a fantasy written by literati.
Literature originates from spirit, and spirit belongs to its own era. Therefore, literature is a mirror of the times and a spiritual pioneer.
The articles I write naturally come from my spirit. Therefore, what I write is the Zhaojun in my mind - it can be said that he is completely different from the real Zhaojun - this also includes the environment she lives in and the things she comes into contact with. So it is not surprising that this poem has some discrepancies with the facts.
Her appearance made the geese flying south forget to flap their wings and fall to the ground, so they were called falling geese. She, together with Xi Shi, Diao Chan and Yang Yuhuan, are known as the four beauties in ancient China. He enjoys the "appearance of a woman shying away from the moon when the moon is closed, and an appearance of a fish sinking before a wild goose".
After Zhaojun was elected to the palace, a painter named Mao Yanshou painted portraits of the palace ladies. When the palace ladies gave him gifts, he would make the paintings more beautiful and vice versa. But Wang Zhaojun was unwilling to do such a mundane thing as giving him a gift. This is the pride that a most beautiful woman should have. Her unconventional pride is enough to deter Diao Chan.
She was originally the most beautiful woman in the world, but fate twisted everything. Even so, Zhaojun left the barrier with the courage and freedom that the most beautiful woman should have. It will never be the most beautiful woman who feels pity, but the king who cannot get her.
Zhaojun left his homeland and went north to the Huns, leaving nothing behind except a drop of homesick tears.
After Zhaojun left the fortress, she advised Huhanxie Shanyu not to start a war, and also passed on the culture of the Central Plains to the Xiongnu. From then on, the Han and Hungarian peoples were united and harmonious, and the country was peaceful and peaceful. "The border city was closed, the cattle and horses were in the wild, there were no barking dogs for three generations, and the Li Shu people forgot about the war." The Xiongnu showed a prosperous and peaceful scene. Because Zhaojun was not a person who went north to the Huns. She brought all the culture of the Central Plains with her, and wherever she went, spring flowers bloomed. She alone affects the lives of the entire Huns and the people of the Central Plains. She allowed a peaceful age to spread in this restless sky. This is something Xi Shi, Yang Yuhuan and other "subjugated women" cannot compare with.
Wang Chen said: "From the four aspects of appearance, temperament, character and charm, Wang Zhaojun is called the most beautiful person, which is well deserved.
