The background of the incident and its painful and indignant mentality.
During Qu Yuan's exile in Chu Huaiwang, the national strength of Chu State gradually weakened. In 278 BC, General Qin led his troops south in vain, and finally conquered Ying, the capital of Chu. Qu Yuan fled back to Du Ying from the north and south of the Han Dynasty, witnessed the ruin of Du Ying with his own eyes, and wrote "Mourning for the Past" bitterly, which was full of the pain of the country's ruin and death. When he saw that the motherland was on the verge of extinction, he couldn't help crying: "My heart is broken and I am sad, but I don't know what it is?"
Infinite concern and sadness about the motherland haunt me, but I don't know where to stand.
This song "Mourning" can well express Qu Yuan's grief and anguish when he witnessed the imminent demise of the motherland, but this is not what Qu Yuan said before he died.
Qu Yuan wrote Huai Sha, the last poem in his life. After singing tragically and despairingly, he jumped into the river and died for his country.
When Qu Yuan saw this scene, he silently recalled his life that he had no choice but to serve the country and fight against decadent forces. Filled with grief and indignation, he wrote Huai Sha, the last poem of his life.
On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, Qu Yuan wandered by the Miluo River near Changsha. He was skinny and trudged along the river. He despaired of the disillusionment of his political ideal and the failure to save the destruction of the motherland; Facing the rolling river, his heart is surging and ups and downs; Looking up at the sky, he recited Huai Sha's poem tragically: "You can not let me die, but you can not love me." . Make it clear to Mr. Wang, and I will feel the same. "
This is the last sentence Qu Yuan said before he jumped into the river. He said sadly and despairingly: There is only a dead end in front of me, and I will never spare my life for the truth. Those aboveboard gentlemen, I will follow your example.
While the poem was still echoing in the air, Qu Yuan picked up a stone and jumped into the river. Qu Yuan gave his life for his motherland and the ideal he fought for all his life. This year, he was sixty-two years old.

Qu Yuan wrote many poems in his life, and more than 20 poems have been handed down to this day. He wrote these poems with blood and tears, and his people are poems. These poems truly express Qu Yuan's personality and temperament. These poems are the true records and artistic crystallization of his life's struggle, and clearly express Qu Yuan's mood and state of mind.
Qu Yuan, a great patriotic poet, has a noble taste and noble character and has always been admired and missed by people. People in China regard the day when Qu Yuan committed suicide by throwing himself into the river after his death on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month as a traditional festival to commemorate him. On this day, people will wrap zongzi and throw them into the Miluo River so that fish can have food to eat instead of eating Qu Yuan's body. And rowing a dragon boat, which means that people went to save Qu Yuan.
It is May 5th again, and the Dragon Boat Festival remembers Qu Yuan. I hope that Qu Yuan's patriotic feelings and spirit of caring for the country and the people will always be remembered and missed by our generation.
