Providing a broom is a modest statement. In ancient times, when a woman married a man, she would humbly call herself a "towel bar" to show her subordinate position. With Ban Jieyu's talent and former identity, it is impossible to sweep the floor with a broom so down and out, but it is better to be a concubine than to serve the queen mother, and there is no way out in the future, so I can only helplessly live a boring life every day.
The second sentence quotes a poem from Ban Jieyu's Fan Poetry: "The new Soviet Union is as bright as frost and snow. Cut into acacia fans, round like the bright moon. In and out of your arms, shaking the breeze. I am often afraid that the autumn festival will come, and the coolness will take away the heat. Abandon donations, and be kind. " The round fan is a summer item, and it is not used in autumn. Ancient women often used a round fan to describe the unfortunate fate of being abandoned as soon as their youth was over. Later, there was a saying called "Autumn fans watch donations". This sentence is also a continuation of the previous sentence, further writing his abandoned fate and sad mood.
The last two sentences are to express feelings. Ban Jieyu lamented that he had been abandoned in a long letter, so where is the emperor? He lives in Zhaoyang Palace, where Zhao lived. Compared with western Western jackdaw, Ban Jieyu is not as beautiful as western Western jackdaw. Western Western jackdaw can still fly past the emperor and share his kindness, but now the people in the secluded palace are not as good as it, compared with the former, it is even sadder. Shen Deqian commented, "Western jackdaw in the west has come with the shadow of the East, but he is not as good as a crow. You are soft and infinite, which makes people sigh three times. " This poem has a strange conception and a long resentment.
