First, the oldest old street-Cang Qiao
The oldest old street is located in the Cang Qiao area of Songjiang, the birthplace of Shanghai.
Songjiang Cangcheng Historical and Cultural District is located in the west corner of Songjiang Zhongshan Road, named after Cangcheng, a granary built in the Ming Dynasty. Since the Ming Dynasty, Cangcheng has been an important grain storage area of Songjiang Prefecture and the origin of grain transportation. Rivers criss-cross, and bridges, mansions, shops and temples built along the old city river are row upon row, which became another bustling center outside Guyangmen in the west of Songjiang Prefecture at that time. The Great Cang Qiao is a five-hole arch stone bridge with a height of over10m and a span of over 50m. Formerly known as "Yongfeng Bridge", it is called "Great Cang Qiao" because the south of the bridge is Songjiang House's grain transportation warehouse city. It is one of the famous stone bridges in Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.
Second, the most cultural old street-business sofa.
Shangta Old Street, located in Shangta Town, northwest of Qingpu, is the place where the so-called businessmen settle down. Business sofa originally belonged to Kunshan City. In order to strengthen the management of Dianshan Lake, it was included in Shanghai. There are Shang Zhou and Jin Zhou highways in the town. There is nothing strange about going to Ta Lao Jie, but because there is a teacher named Bao Yiliang in this short old street, he specially organized his fellow singer to sing Xuan Juan. They performed everywhere, and specially drew the introduction of this local opera on the old street, so it was very eye-catching. Bao Yiliang's own folk art museum is a sight that other old streets can't see. The works of XuanJuan, which he has created for decades, are dizzying.
Third, the most educational old street-Qinglong Qingpu Qinglong Old Street
Tangwan Village (formerly Chen Yue Village) hidden beside Bai Ji Highway is called "Old Qingpu" by local people.
According to historical records, Laoqingpu is the earliest foreign trade port in Shanghai, formerly known as Qinglong Town, which was built in the Tang Dynasty. Qinglong Old Street is very short, only about 200 meters. At the end of Qinglong Old Street, there are two well-preserved propaganda slogans of the New Fourth Army on the wall. One content is "consolidating domestic unity and ensuring domestic peace", and the other content is "We want peace and oppose civil war". Two slogans are written on the back wall of the Earth Temple, and the other is written on the back wall of the old Qingpu Primary School.
Fourth, the most magical old street I saw at first sight-Zhangyan Village.
Zhangyan was originally a town, near Zhang Chen Road and Zhang Yao Road, in the northwest of Chonggu Town. Towns are distributed in a triangle. According to legend, the official seal of Zhangzhuang bamboo slips in Song Dynasty supervised Huating Salt Affairs and settled here, hence the name. There is songze pool next to it. In the Ming dynasty, commerce was extremely prosperous. Once known as "golden weir, heavy silver", it gradually declined. After 1949, most shops moved to Chonggu, and this place became a village. Today it is called Zhangyan, and the Jinjing Bridge in the village is the most amazing at first sight. Now there are many old houses in the town, most of which are deep houses. Unfortunately, they are all worn out, which makes people have to look back.
Fifth, Qibao Street, the concentration place of food.
Qibao Street is divided into north and south streets, the south street is dominated by specialty snacks, and the north street is dominated by tourist handicrafts, antiques and calligraphy and painting. The whole street is full of antique buildings. Among them, the most famous is Laojie. Qibao Square Cake, Begonia Cake, Qibao Tangtuan, candied haws and stinky tofu are all delicious. In addition, the cricket hall, the old hotel, Qibao Theater, Micro Sculpture Hall and Han Shu Pavilion have all restored the century-old culture of the old street.
