The word "rao" in the first sentence "Autumn bushes surround the house like Tao's house" refers to the number of chrysanthemums planted outside the house, giving people the feeling of an elegant environment, like Tao Yuanming's house. The poet compares the place where chrysanthemums are planted to the Tao family, which shows that there are many chrysanthemums in autumn and the flowers are blooming in full bloom. So many beautiful chrysanthemums make people feel happy.
The second sentence, "The fence is gradually slanting all around" expresses the poet's focus on looking at the flowers. The word "circle" in the second sentence expresses the strong interest of the poet in appreciating the chrysanthemums. He does not stop at the east fence, but "circles the fence" until the sun is approaching, which expresses the poet's leisurely mood when appreciating the chrysanthemums. The poet was deeply attracted by chrysanthemums, and his love for chrysanthemums seemed to be even greater than that of Mr. Wuliu. "Wandering around" and "increasingly day by day", the poet is fascinated by the chrysanthemums, and the mood of lingering and the poet's sincere love for chrysanthemums are truly expressed. The lines are full of joy. The first two sentences are just fourteen words, with scenery, feelings, and associations, vividly sketching a picture of a poet strolling among chrysanthemums, admiring flowers, and reciting poems in the autumn evening, and he never wants to return.
The three or four sentences "It's not that chrysanthemums are preferred among flowers, but that there will be no flowers after all the flowers have bloomed" points out the reason why the poet loves chrysanthemums. These two sentences suddenly turn into a negative sentence, pointing out that he is not in love with chrysanthemums for no reason. In late autumn, all the flowers have faded. Only the chrysanthemum can withstand the wind and frost. It supports independently and adds vitality to the world. The poet loves life and nature. The last chrysanthemum that blooms in the four seasons makes him forget his love and cannot let go of it. The poet wrote his own unique reasons for loving chrysanthemums from the perspective that they are the last to wither.
