The bumpy road of responding to the lawsuit for many years and the complicated and cruel background of party struggle after entering politics are all important external factors contributing to the formation of his ci style.

Qin Guan has more than 430 poems. In terms of quantity, Qin Guan had two peaks of poetry creation in his life. The first time was from the first year of Yuanfeng to the second year of Yuanfeng, that is, he was 30 to 32 years old and had 10 1 poem; The second time, from three years in Yuan You to eight years in Yuan You, that is, from 40 to 45 years old, a total of 142 songs.
