Shanyuan Xiaomei Lin Bu’s third and fourth sentences are from what angles are they written about plum blossoms?

Meihua’s unique living environment and extraordinary personality are written from two perspectives.

"Small Plum Blossoms in the Mountain Garden"

The author is Lin Bu? Song Dynasty

All the flowers are falling and blooming alone, occupying the small garden with all the charm.

The sparse shadows are slanting across the clear and shallow water, and the faint fragrance is floating in the moonlight at dusk.

The frost bird steals its eyes when it wants to come down, and the white butterfly is like a knowing soul.

Fortunately, we can have sex with each other with a slight chant, and we don’t need the sandalwood board to touch the golden statue.

Vernacular interpretation:

Every flower has withered, but only the plum blossoms are blooming boldly against the cold wind. The bright and gorgeous scenery takes up the scenery of the small garden.

Sparse shadows slant across the clear water, and a quiet fragrance floats under the moonlight at dusk.

When the bird wants to fly down, it first takes a peek at the plum blossoms; if the butterfly knows the beauty of the plum blossoms, it will definitely lose its soul.

Fortunately, I can chant in a low voice and get close to the plum blossoms. I don’t have to knock on the sandalwood board to sing or drink from the golden cup to appreciate it. Extended information

Writing background:

The specific creation time of this poem cannot be verified. Lin Bu was a famous hermit in the Song Dynasty. He roamed the Yangtze River and Huaihe River when he was young. After he was more than 40 years old, he lived in seclusion in the West Lake of Hangzhou and stayed in Lushan Mountain. He loved plum blossoms and cranes. He said that he took plum blossoms as his wife and crane as his son. He wrote many poems about plum blossoms in his life, and this poem is the most famous among them.

"Little Plum Blossoms in the Mountain Garden" is a seven-character verse composed by Lin Bu, a poet in the Song Dynasty. This poem highlights the unique beauty and noble character of plum blossoms, using the character of plum blossoms as a metaphor for one's aloof and quiet life. The author endows the plum blossoms with human character, and the relationship between the author and the plum blossoms has reached a spiritual unity.

At the beginning of the poem, it is written that the quality of plum blossoms is extraordinary. The couplet perfectly expresses the elegance and tranquility of plum blossoms in terms of posture and fragrance. The neck couplet emphasizes the beauty of plum blossoms depicted in the previous couplet from the attitude of frost birds and white butterflies towards plum blossoms. Finally, those who can get close to plum blossoms are fortunate to have the elegance of reciting poems, and do not need the luxury of banquets, singing and dancing.

The two lines of Lin Bu's poems are not imaginary. In addition to having a real sense of life, he also drew on the poems of his predecessors. There is a remnant sentence about the Southern Tang River in the Five Dynasties: "The bamboo shadows are slanting across the clear and shallow water, and the fragrance of cinnamon floats in the moonlight at dusk."

These two sentences describe both bamboo and osmanthus. Not only did it not describe the characteristics of the bamboo shadow, it also failed to describe the fragrance of the sweet-scented osmanthus. Because it has no title and no complete poem, it fails to form a unified and harmonious theme and artistic conception, and the passion of the protagonist cannot be felt, so it lacks touching power.

But Lin Bu only changed two words, changing "bamboo" to "sparse" and "gui" to "dark". This "finishing" touch made the plum blossoms come alive and visible. Lin Bu's talent for enlightening poetry.
