Author background

Yang Wanli (1 124- 1206), a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, was born in Jishui, Jizhou (now Jiangxi). He was one of the writers who wrote the most poems in ancient China. His poems are popular, fresh, smooth and natural, and are called "truth rate". The content of the poem is mainly landscape and natural scenery, so his good friend once humorously joked with him that "mountains and rivers are afraid of seeing everywhere"
