Qinghai poetry

The poem about Qinghai goes like this:

1, Qinghai Changyun Dark Snow Mountain, overlooking the lonely city of Yumenguan.

Translation:

Seen from the frontier fortress city, it is the frontier defense line from Qinghai Lake to Yumenguan Pass via Qilian Mountain. The sky is overcast, the smoke is rolling, and the snowy mountains are bleak.

Readers of frontier poems in Tang Dynasty are often confused by the confusion and spatial separation of ancient and modern place names in poems. Some people doubt that the author is not familiar with geography, so they don't seek a good solution, and others write for it. This is the case with this poem. The first two sentences mentioned three place names. Snow Mountain is Qilian Mountain in the south of Hexi Corridor.

Qinghai and Guan Yu are thousands of miles apart, but they appear on the same picture, so these two sentences have various interpretations. Some people say that the first sentence is looking forward, and the next sentence is looking back at home. This is very strange. Qinghai and Snow Mountain are in front, and Yumenguan is behind. Then the hometown of the lyric hero should be the Western Regions west of Yumenguan, not the Han soldiers, but Hu Bing.

2, don't look at Qinghai head, it is simply a forgotten old bone.

Translation:

Don't you see that on the edge of Qinghai, the bones of soldiers who have died since ancient times have not been buried?

The poet described the sufferings brought to the people by continuous wars in a mournful style and expressed his criticism of the belligerence of the Tang Dynasty. This is a political satire against Tang Xuanzong's belligerence.

The whole poem tells the people's hatred of war and the pain caused by her husband's answer to the old man. In this case, local officials have to extort money, and the people are even more miserable. This is one of the famous poems in which the poet deeply understands the sufferings of the people and expresses deep sympathy.

3, Qinghai array cloud, Montenegro soldiers rushed. The war is too high and too high, and the head is empty after the war.

Translation:

Dark clouds piled up like soldiers in the desert on the border, and the murderous look of Mao Ge in Montenegro soared into the sky. When Tang Jun was at war, the white star hung high in the night sky, but after the war, the first star went up in smoke.

This is a poem that eulogizes the gentleman's going to the frontier from the army, fighting for life and death, and returning home in triumph. The whole poem shows the hero's lofty ideal of serving the country from the army and building the frontier, and praises his heroism and optimism of taking risks. The whole poem is bright in language, elegant in style, magnificent and profound in meaning.
