1. The original text of "Dragon Boat Festival"
Who said the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival? It has been rumored for ages that it is Qu Yuan.
It is laughable that the Chu River is so indistinct that it cannot wash away the grievances of the direct ministers.
2. Interpretation
Dragon Boat Festival, it is said that this day is the day when Qu Yuan, the first great man in my country, threw himself into the river. Later generations injured him and died unjustly, so he threw rice dumplings into the river as a sacrifice and rowed a boat. The customs of eating rice dumplings and dragon boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival followed. The author's quatrain also raises a thought-provoking question: Although later generations praise and worship in every possible way, tragedies like Qu Yuan's sinking have happened after all, and such injustice cannot be simply washed away.
