Badaling usually has a larger passenger flow, and it is often crowded and followed; Mutianyu is much less crowded. Badaling is famous in China, with a big 5A scenic spot and many China compatriots. Mutianyu, though 4A, is famous overseas and has many international friends. It is located in the southwest of Yanqing County, Beijing, about 75 kilometers away from the urban area. Badaling is located at the crossroads and has high military value. Therefore, emperors of all dynasties have also paid great attention to the defense here, and since the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, they have been constantly strengthening the Great Wall here. Therefore, this section of the Great Wall is built with stone and city bricks, which is very strong. There are also many wall platforms with different purposes along the city, which are used as the peripheral pass and defense outpost of Juyongguan. Square terraces are built every three or five hundred meters along the city, rising above the wall. It is located in Huairou District, with Gubeikou in the east and Juyongguan in the west, 73 kilometers away from Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall is the barrier of the Ming tombs, and its importance to the Ming Dynasty can be imagined, so it is the essence of the Great Wall in Wan Li in the Ming Dynasty. Mutianyu Great Wall enjoys the reputation of "Great Wall of Wan Li, unique in Mutianyu" at home and abroad. It was built in 1368 AD by Xu Da, a general under Zhu Yuanzhang, on the site of the Northern Qi Great Wall, which is the essence of the Great Wall in Wan Li in the Ming Dynasty. This section is connected to Gubeikou in the east and Juyongguan in the west. Since ancient times, it has been a military important place to defend Gyeonggi, with famous landscapes such as Zhengguan Terrace, Dajiaolou and Eagle Flying.
