Gong Mi is the highest praise for local rice. For example, Qiaomi in Jingshan, Hubei, Gong Mi in Zhuxi, Gong Mi in Lianggang, Gong Mi in Ninghua River, Gong Mi in Youyang, in Yuquan, Hunan, Gong Mi in Northeast China, Gong Mi in Central Hunan, Gong Mi in Bailianpo, Huaiyuan, Wannian Gongmi in Jiangxi and Yesheng Gongmi in Ningxia.

Jingshan buckwheat rice, a specialty of Jingshan City, Hubei Province, is a symbolic product of chinese national geography. Named after its origin in sunqiao town, Jingshan City, it is slender, smooth and transparent, delicious but not greasy, and has a beautiful fragrance. As early as the Ming Dynasty, it was designated as "Gong Mi".

Dragon Gong Mi is famous for its production in Ninghua County and Longxiang Township, and is widely planted in the county. Ninghua County has a long history and rich characteristics of agricultural products. It was listed as Gong Mi in 1004 (the first year of Jingdezhen in Song Zhenzong) and has a history of 1000 years.

Gong Mi, Huatian, mainly produced in Huatian Township, Youyang County, Chongqing, with an altitude of 800 meters. Rice is crisp, crisp, oily and waxy, slippery but not greasy, with fine particles, spindle-shaped shape and white as jade. The temperature difference between day and night in the flower field is large, the land is fertile and the water quality is excellent. Huatianren has always adhered to the traditional rice planting method: using farmyard manure and green manure to ferment and then going to the field as base fertilizer, and using plant ash as topdressing; Insecticides are often sprayed with old moth-killing lamps and herbal preparations, and disinfected with Chinese herbal preparations and lime. Therefore, the produced rice is smooth and delicate, with uniform particles, rich nutrition and excellent taste. In the past three years, organic certified technicians have visited Gong Mi many times, and strictly controlled the production, processing, labeling, packaging, sales and management, and conducted random sampling tests at the Gong Mi base. After several tests, "Huatian Gong Mi" finally got the certification certificate.

Zhuxi Gong Mi has a tribute history of 1300 years. In the first year of Tang Guang Palace (AD 684), Li Xian, the Chinese emperor who had just been emperor for less than two months, was abolished as the king of Luling by his mother Wu Zetian and Pei Yan. In April of the same year, Li Xian was exiled to Zhou Fang (now Fangxian). The 28-year-old Luling Wang (born in Xian Qingyuan, Mr. Li) came to Zhoufang, a wild county (including the present Shennongjia forest area), with several family members under the supervision of his mother's cronies. The forest here is vast and sparsely populated. Even in the daytime, there are groups of tigers and leopards and "savages". Li Xian, who had just escaped from her mother's butcher's knife, had to wander around Zhou Fang in shock under close surveillance.
