Chongsheng Temple in Dali is famous for its three pagodas, also known as "Three Pagodas in Dali". It is one of the famous pagodas in China. It looks like three giant pens, embellishing the ancient city more magnificently. The three pagodas have always been symbols of Dali. It is the building in front of Chongsheng Temple in the old days (that is, "Tianlong Temple" in Jin Yong's martial arts novel "Tianlong Babu"). Today, there is no ancient temple, but the three pagodas are still standing. The Three Pagodas is one of the oldest existing buildings in Yunnan. The existing historic site in Xuefeng
Yicun Zen Master and Wang Shenzhi, the king of Fujian, each planted a tamarisk tree, and Qingdaben Monk planted two tamarisk trees. There are 24 landscapes such as Yicun Zen Master Tower, Yingchao Spring, Tiyun Ridge and Liyuechi beside the Buddhist temple, the most famous of which is the Dead Wood Temple.
Kumu 'an is located in the southeast of Chongsheng Temple, only a few hundred meters away from the temple. This is the place where Yicun, the founder of the mountain, first stopped to meditate.
There is a dead tree in the nunnery, and the branch tip at the end has been broken, leaving only the trunk, which is 3.2 meters high and 7.3 meters wide. Dead wood is empty inside, and it is open above, like a big rice cooker with a lid off. Its epidermis is completely stripped, and the exposed skin profile is very tough, about 1 cm thick. In the middle of the south direction of the dead wood, there are two sinuses, such as doors, which are more than 2 meters high and about 1 meter wide. The doorway is semi-circular, like a natural cave, which can accommodate more than 1 people. Inside and outside the dead wood, there are more than 2 inscriptions by celebrities of Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties. Among them, there are inscriptions such as "Wei Tang Tianyou and Yi Chou built an nunnery and made a pool", which is the historical record of Wang Shenzhi, the king of Fujian, donating money to build an nunnery and a pool in the second year of Tang Tianyou (95). These tree steles are called "tree-bellied steles", which are one of the three wonders carved in Fujian Province, and are also rare wooden steles in the Tang Dynasty in China. At present, the two trees planted in the Tang Dynasty have been more than a thousand years. The trees are big and ten-sided, and Gu Gan hangs down branches. When the wind blows, it is like sweeping the floor. Legend has it that, at the end of his life, he said, "I will come again when the double coffin sweeps the floor and the stone eggs bloom." Stone egg refers to the stone on the tower seat of the righteous ancestor, which has cracks. Jiuhuashan Chongsheng Temple
was originally named Linghe Temple. Commonly known as "old nunnery". Located in Xiling Heshan, Xihongling (now Huayang Village, Miaoqian Town, Qingyang County). Tang Guang changed its name to Yuanzhao Temple in the early years. During the Baodian period of the Southern Tang Dynasty (943 ~ 958), the famous Linghe Temple was restored. In the sixth year of Xiangfu in Song Dazhong (113), "Chongsheng Temple" was awarded. Chen Yan, a poet at the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, wrote in the poem "Chongsheng Courtyard": "Before the four mountains came with water, there was a golden lotus in the sky. The monk stood up with a clear voice, and the crane in the pine room danced and wandered. " Chen Yan described in his poem notes that there was a pavilion of emerald waterfalls in front of Chongsheng, and Jiang Shuying wrote a poem "The clouds sinus falls like a drag, and the smoke cliff passes through like a silk". There is a promenade on the pavilion of the Jade Waterfall, and an Jiayu Pavilion on the side of the pavilion of the Jade Waterfall. The temple still exists in Jiajing of Ming Dynasty. Waste later.
