It comes from the poem "Langtaosha·Wish the Wine to the East Wind" by Ouyang Xiu, a writer in the Song Dynasty.
The whole poem is as follows:
Put the wine to the east wind, and be calm. Weeping poplars and purple moss hang to the east of Luocheng. We always join hands and travel around the world.
The gatherings and separations are in a hurry, and this hatred is endless. This year's flowers are more red than last year's. It's a pity that the flowers will be better next year. Who knows?
The translation is as follows:
Pick up your glass and pray to the east. Please stay a little longer and don’t rush away. The country trail with weeping willows in the east of Luoyang City is where we traveled together last year. We visited the colorful flowers.
The reunions and separations are so hasty, but the hatred in my heart is endless. This year's bonus is better than last year's, and next year's flowers will be even more beautiful. Unfortunately, I don't know who I will be with at that time.

Creative background
This poem was written after traveling with friends in the old place in the east of Luoyang City in spring. According to the meaning of the word, in the spring before writing this word, the friend also traveled with the author in the east of Luocheng. Ouyang Xiu stayed in Xijing for three years before and after the war, during which he was only in Luoyang in the spring of the first year of the Ming Dynasty (1032), and this poem was written in that year. The person traveling with him in the poem may be Mei Yaochen.
Appreciation of the work
This is a short poem about cherishing spring and recalling spring. He wrote about the feelings he felt when he was traveling alone in the eastern suburbs of Luoyang City, drinking and watching flowers, and the feeling of being together but afraid of being separated. This poem was composed by the author and his friend when they revisited their old place in the eastern suburbs of Luoyang in spring. The time span last year, this year, and next year. The first part of the film reflects on the past situation from the current situation, that is, from the beautiful scenery in front of me, I think about the joy of traveling together last year.
In the next film, we will start thinking about the present situation and the future situation. There is a feeling of regret in it, especially showing the cherishment of friendship. "This year's flowers are redder than last year's, but it's a pity that next year's flowers will be better." Comparing the three flower seasons, it blends the feelings of admiration with flowers. It is a metaphor for the shortness of life and the joyful mood of gathering, rather than the real flowers of "this year". It is more vivid than "last year", but because it is written with a happy scene, the artistic conception of the word is deeper and the emotion is more sincere.
