Traveling is difficult. Each poem by Li Bai expresses the author’s emotions.

"The road is difficult" refers to the difficulty of the world.

The whole poem expresses the poet's grief, anger, depression, and attachment to his lofty ideals and beliefs in a difficult world. It expresses the poet's grief, indignation and depression while adhering to his lofty ideals and beliefs.

The poem "Traveling is Difficult" (Part 1) was written by Li Bai, a famous and great poet during the prosperous Tang Dynasty in my country, after he was forced to leave Chang'an in the third year of Tianbao reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (744). In terms of the content and expression form of the poem, the whole poem can be divided into five levels, which express the poet's complex emotions in terms of "confusion", "anger", "hope", "depression" and "confidence".

The beginning of the poem "Golden bottles of wine cost ten thousand, and jade plates cost ten thousand coins." It leads to "I can't eat when I stop the cup and throw chopsticks." The poet faced the precious wine glass containing pure wine and the precious plate containing delicious food, but he put down the wine glass and threw away the tachyon. We know that Li Bai is not only a poet, but also known as the "Jiu Xianweng". He is good at drinking and has the hobby of "hoping to be drunk without waking up" (from Li Bai's "Jinjinjiu"). From the abnormal behavior of "stopping the cup and throwing chopsticks", we can see that although the poet is "addicted to alcohol", he is not "according to his fate". This is because the poet has too much depression in his chest, and it also shows that the poet does not want to live a wasted life of drunkenness and dreams. Therefore, when the poet "draws his sword and looks around", he feels "at a loss" (frustrated) inside.

Then, the poet uses "the Yellow River is blocked by ice, and the Taihang Mountains are covered with snow" to metaphorize how difficult the world is. It also implies that the poet's situation after being forced to leave Chang'an is as desolate as winter. On the road of life, there are difficulties like "ice-clogging rivers" and "snow-covered mountains". It reflects the poet's confusion about the current situation at that time. However, the poet holds the idea that "I am born with talents that will be useful" (from Li Bai's "Jinjinjiu"), and uses the allusion "I come to fish in the blue stream in my spare time, and suddenly I am riding a boat to dream of the sun" to compare myself to Lu Shang and Yi Yin. , I believe that one day I will be used by others like them, to use my talents and realize my ideals. It expresses the poet's confidence in his future. However, this is just a surreal reverie of the poet. Facing the reality, looking at the "golden bottles of sake" and "jade plates of treasures", recalling the dilemma of being forced to leave Chang'an, and recalling the confusion that his ideals could not be realized, he sighed: "How difficult the road of life is." ! There are many paths in life before me, and I don’t know where I am. The poet once again fell into the low point of "bewilderment" (completely unaware). The poem ends with "There will be times when the wind blows and the waves break, and the sails will hang straight across the sea." This is not only an answer to "Different roads, where are we now?", but also once again arouses the poet's confidence in the future and his belief that when time comes, his grand ambitions will be realized.

There are five levels in the whole poem, and it seems that each level is not connected to each other. However, if you understand it carefully, you will find that the meanings are closely connected and the levels are clear and not disconnected. It embodies the poet's complex and contradictory emotions of confusion, anger, hope, depression, and self-confidence. It interweaves the complex emotions of reality and ideals, hesitation and hope, depression and self-confidence. It not only reflects the heavy oppression of the poet by the reality at that time, but also shows the poet's unrestrained and unrestrained romantic personality.
