Chaisang, the ancient Chaisang County seat, also known as Jiujiang, refers to today’s Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It was established in the Western Han Dynasty and was named after Chaisang Mountain. It is the seat of Xunyang County, so it is also called Xunyang city. The Chaisang site is located on the beach of Qili Lake in Saihu Village, Jiujiang County. It borders Qili Lake to the east and Hewensai to the west.
