The origin of Yingkou Fukang purple clay teapot

Fukang was created by Xu Jinsen, the grandfather of Xu Hantang and Xu Xiutang, a famous purple clay family in Yixing, the contemporary pot art masters.

His son Xu Zuchun is also an expert in purple clay. He assists his father in firing "Fukang" pots and is in charge of production. His younger brother Xu Zu'an is in charge of external marketing. Fukang Pottery has stores in Shanghai, Yingkou and other cities, specializing in its own Fukang purple clay pots.

Fukang pots have a variety of seals. In the early stage, the store number seal used was commonly known as the wealthy and honorable head pattern with the word "Fu Ji" in it. In the middle period, the store number seal used was like "Fragrant floating bird's tongue helps me." The inscription of the poem "Poet Mengchen" is from Xu Ji, and the store number stamp used in the later period is rectangular Yin Yang Wen_Shu Jingxi Hui Mengchen.
