To learn Buddhism and become a Buddha, simply put, it means to go through the four steps of "faith, understanding, practice, and realization", adopt the six paths of "Six Paramitas", and experience "precepts, concentration, and wisdom". "Only through the three levels of realm can one finally achieve the right fruition and become a Buddha immediately. Let me introduce it to you in turn:
1. Faith, interpretation and practice: First of all, you must have faith and be willing to follow the footsteps of Buddha to practice and do it according to the method instructed by Buddha. This is called "faith" , Buddhism also calls it "generating bodhicitta"; then you have to have a real monk to explain Buddhism to you, which is "explanation"; then you have to do it according to the method taught by the monk, that is, integrating theory with practice, which is called "action" "; Finally, it is verified through practice that what has been learned is true and true, which is called "proof";
2. "Six Paramitas" are the six ways of practice, referred to as "Six Paramitas", respectively : Giving, patience, precepts, diligence, meditation, prajna. A simple understanding in modern terms is: selfless dedication (giving), enduring grievances and pain (endurance), abiding by Buddhist rules and regulations (precepts), studying hard and making progress every day (diligence), and meditating to free one's mind from emotions. control (meditation) and gain supreme wisdom (prajna).
3. Precepts, concentration and wisdom: This represents the three levels of spiritual practice. "Precepts" are the above-mentioned precepts. The Buddha told us what we can and cannot do, and monks must abide by them 250 There are 348 rules and regulations (called "precepts" in Buddhism) for female monks (what we often call nuns). If you do not become a monk and practice Buddhism at home, you only have to abide by five rules, that is, "obey the five precepts" (it seems Simple, not easy to achieve). "Ding" means "meditation", which is the most important way of practice in Buddhism. According to the teachings of eminent monks, "people who meditate may not necessarily become Buddhas, but becoming a Buddha must be inseparable from meditation!". "Hui" means "prajna wisdom", because the word "prajna" contains six different kinds of wisdom, which cannot be translated and can only be called "great wisdom".
——In this way, we can achieve positive results. However, for ordinary people, we should start from the "Three Refuges, Five Precepts and Ten Good Deeds", and start with being filial to our parents! Parents are the first Buddhas on our spiritual journey!
