Lotus flower tea book in Eastern Jin Dynasty, homesick stone pavilion in Nanyang
The written record of Fujian tea production was first seen in the cliff stone carving "Lotus Flower Tea Front" on the Lotus Flower Peak Stone in Fengzhou Ancient Town, Nan 'an County (AD 376). This is more than 300 years earlier than that recorded in Lu Yu's Tea Classic.
In ancient times, Fengzhou was the political, economic and cultural center of southern Fujian. Lotus Peak is located in the northwest of Taoyuan Village in the north of Zhenbei, with a peak height of about120m. Lianhuayan Temple existed as early as the Western Jin Dynasty. In the Tang Dynasty, there was an Ouyang Zhan library on the mountainside. Han Wo, a poet at the end of the Tang Dynasty, lived in seclusion at this time. He used the poem "Looking for the old lady on the cliff and picking tea songs in local conditions" to describe the production scene of Lianhuafeng tea in that year. In 10 1 1 year, Gao Huilian, the magistrate of Quanzhou, wrote "Tea fragrance in the cracks", which still exists today.
In the Ming Dynasty, in the year of Zheng Deyuan (AD 1506), the Youth Pavilion was built. The pavilion was named after a poem written by Dai Chen in the second year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1069), in which "a lotus flower is not old, and its flowers bloom in the spring". The pavilion is often called "Stone Pavilion" because the beams, roof and all components of the pavilion are carved from granite. Since then, Lianhuafeng Tea has been renamed Shi Ting Green Tea. During the light years of the Qing Dynasty, tea planting in Lianhuafeng was more abundant, and many people crossed the sea to make a living in Nan 'an. Shiting Green has gradually become a gift for overseas Chinese wishing "bon voyage". Over time, overseas Chinese loved to drink, and then, Shiting Green sold well in Southeast Asian islands and even exported to Britain.
Homesick wanderers, stone pavilions, tea pavilions and people have built a unique tea culture landscape in the hometown of overseas Chinese. Nowadays, the ancient town is full of brilliance and new buildings are in pieces, but the couplet of the mountain gate is still the same: "Tea is green and green, and the opening is more ancient; Pavilion Gao Lianao, drunk as Gan Kun.
