Double teens?

Double ten refers to the ancient men and women who are 20 years old, which means that adding double ten is 20 years old. The ancients liked to praise their age in this way, which means modesty. It is impolite to say their age too directly. So I like to say something obscure. As in ancient times, there was "twenty-eight years old", that is, two eights add up to sixteen years old. So a double decade, as the name implies, is the sum of two tens, which means twenty years old.

Ancient appellation:

General angle: refers to childhood. In ancient times, young men were not crowned, young women were not married, and their hair styles were sparse. They just combed their hair into two buns, which seemed to be a corner of their heads.

Look down: refers to childhood. When children grow up, they can't tie their hair in a bun, and their hair naturally droops, so "crying" is used to refer to childhood.

Beginning: According to normal physiological phenomena, children begin to change their teeth at the age of seven or eight, and "beginning" has become synonymous with children of tooth-changing age.

Cardamom: specifically, the woman is thirteen or fourteen years old. In Du Mu's poems, there is a poem "More than thirteen years, the first month of cardamom".

And logistics: especially female 15 years old. "A woman marries for five years", and "getting married" means being married.
