Since the reform and opening up, many scenic spots in Shenshan Mountain have been restored, rebuilt and supplemented, becoming more colorful and becoming tourist attractions for domestic and foreign tourists. The Shangshan Academy at the northern foot of Shenshan Mountain was built in Qin Long in the sixth year of Ming Dynasty (1572), and it was the earliest academy established in Chenghai. There is a pool with long red leaves in front of the academy, which is called Hongye Pool. The plaque in front of the academy said, "The Ritual Gate opens and closes the mountain, and it is also a deer cave. It is beautiful to climb the clear water on the shore and go back to the apricot altar." Stepping to the east foot, there is a trickle of spring water under Tongxianyan, and the spring water is clear and sweet. Now, a shaft wall has been built around it to make tea for guests, which is called "the first spring of Xianyan".
On the upper left of Tongxianyan, there is a red footprint, which is said to be the footprint left by the immortal. In the southeast of the mountain, there is a rectangular stone with a smooth surface. At the small end, there is a stone protrusion like a pillow. According to legend, there is a fairy lying on it, which is called "fairy bed". At the western foot of the mountain is the Shenshan Ancient Temple, also known as the Stone Buddha Temple, which was built in the eleventh year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1638). The main hall is a natural stone wall with Guanyin relief stone statues on the wall, which are lifelike. At the top of the holy mountain is Lingyun Pavilion, which was built during the reign of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1787). Commonly known as Kuixing Building, it is dedicated to Kuixing Emperor. In recent years, Guihua Pavilion, Dizang Pavilion and Zhangwen Pavilion have been built on the western hillside.
The two Bodhi trees at the foot of Shenshan Mountain are said to have been planted during the reign of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty.
