Don Li Shangyin's Yi Xian
God pity the grass in the secluded place, and cherish it in the sunny evening.
[Appreciation] These two poems are about the scene and mood of clearing up in the evening after a long rain. Youcao has recovered its vitality because of the favorable weather, so it is said that "God's will" is pitying it. It was already evening when it cleared up, and the time was short, but the poet still cherished it because it appeared after a long-term expectation. When the poet wrote this poem, it was after many ups and downs and unfortunate experiences that he got a satisfactory home, so he used this poem to express his temporary satisfaction with the status quo.
[Original] Deep in the city, spring goes to summer to pay off. Heaven pity the grass, the sun shines on earth, add a shelf and a small window. Birds' nests have been dried, and their bodies are light again.
