The ancient poem "Mountain Village"

The Mountain Village by Wang Jian in Tang Dynasty;

One or two chickens crow in the rain, and Zhuxicun Road leans against Banqiao.

Mother-in-law called a silkworm bath and watched gardenias in the atrium.

Interpretation of vernacular:

There is a crow in the rain, and one or two families are vaguely in the mountain village. The stream is surrounded by green bamboo, and the narrow slab bridge is connected to a mountain road. Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law call each other to bathe silkworms and choose seeds, and gardenias in the courtyard are unique and no one enjoys them.

Precautions:

1, Zhuxi: the side of Zhuxi is long.

2. Mother-in-law: refers to the daughter-in-law and mother-in-law of a peasant woman.

3. Bathing silkworm: In ancient times, silkworm eggs were soaked in salt water to select excellent silkworm eggs and become bath silkworms.

4. Idleness: Farmers are busy working, and no one appreciates the blooming gardenias.

5, gardenia: evergreen shrubs, white flowers in spring and summer, very fragrant.

Extended data:

The first two sentences of the poem are about crows in the rain and one or two farmers; Xiuzhu, Qingxi, Village Road and Banqiao, just a few strokes, outline a beautiful and quiet mountain village scenery. The third sentence turned to farming, "women and aunts call each other", showing goodwill, and you can imagine the harmony of family and neighborhood relations.

It rains in summer, but we still have to "wash silkworms", which shows that farming is busy. My mother-in-law went to bathe the silkworm. In the mountain village in the rain, only Gardenia was "idle" in the yard. A word "leisure" sets off the quiet atmosphere in the yard. The whole poem captures the scene of the mountain village everywhere, from scenery to people, from people to the environment.
