Appreciation of Long Sentences of Rewarding Nine Servants of Yuan Dynasty to Give Bi Bamboo Whip

At the beginning of this poem, it's called Chanting Whips, but it's actually chanting people. Although the bamboo whip in Bizhou is rare, if the whip giver is not a "beauty", I am afraid that the poet will not estimate it at the price of double gold. Liu Yuxi appreciates and admires Yuan Zhen's spirit of not fearing castration. He presented Yuan Zhen with a literary stone pillow and praised Yuan Zhen's "writing is like a rainbow", that is, he praised Yuan Zhen as a "literary stone" and praised his spirit. In this poem, the poet directly praised Yuan Zhen as a "beauty", and his praise was condensed from the pen. These two sentences are written in accordance with the common practice of praising each other first for singing. However, the poet successfully used the techniques of "comparison" and "xing", implying the noble character of the whip giver with the incomparable preciousness of the jade-like bamboo whip, so he did not stick to the old pattern.

Then, I witnessed the bamboo whip and started to associate with it, and wrote a picture of the bamboo making the whip standing proudly in the "Bashan ice and snow". However, this is not simply to write bamboo for the sake of writing bamboo, but to use bamboo as a metaphor for people. This "Jade Bamboo Proud and Cold Map" is exactly the image portrayal of Yuan Zhen's arrogance and perseverance. Bamboo is not afraid of the deep snow and ice in Bashan, and Yuan Zhen is not afraid of the power and arrogance of the official, which are all precious. The poet is full of praise for the whip of Bizhou, which is covered with knots and exposed all over the body. He praised it as a symbol of integrity and integrity, and everywhere showed the will of never dying in the cold. The poet skillfully used the word "festival" of "bamboo festival" and "festival" of "moral integrity" to connect whip with human nature in harmony, and further praised Yuan Zhen's chastity, integrity and fearless character.

At the end, "When to ride home together, close the trees to help the poor and knock on the cymbals" was written in response to Yuan Zhen's poem that "Zhang Qian knows when to go up and will return to the DPRK with the meeting". Liu Yuxi expressed doubts about Yuan Zhen's statement that he would return to the DPRK in this year, and raised the question of "when to ride with him". The poet expressed his willingness to go with Yuan Zhenyi, looking at the closed trees, tapping the gold cymbals and chanting new things. This expresses their common desire to end their relegated life. These two sentences talk about when to go home, and have nothing to do with chanting whips. However, the poet derived two actions from the action of "going home", "riding a horse" and "knocking a stirrup", and wrote these actions into the poem, which made these two sentences closely integrated with the content of the whole poem.

This poem praises each other's character by chanting bamboo whips, and also shows one's moral integrity. The author skillfully combines whip-chanting, writing about people and self-metaphor, which are integrated into one. The whole poem has sincere and deep feelings, and the context of initiation, inheritance, transformation and integration is clear.
