The Original Text of Listening to Ying Shi Playing the Piano and Appreciation of Han Yu

Han Yu

Just like a pair of close children whispering, I had a dark conversation with two beautiful friends, the secretary. Like the wind, who is singing the flag? A soldier likes to fight the king with his sword. Eee logo turned into a floating cloud, you don't have to wander around the endless road. There were hundreds of birds, and suddenly I saw a lonely phoenix. The cliffs pressed people to climb, and the dark valley collapsed under the thunderous sound of collapse. I am ashamed that I have a pair of ears and a pair of music. I am too ignorant to appreciate music. Listening to your music, the piano suddenly rose, making people sit down low. In the panic, I reached out to block my chin, and tears had already poured into my eyes. It's not unusual for a master to be good at kung fu. Don't fill my chest with ice and fire.

Music is fleeting, and it is extremely difficult to describe it vividly. However, in the colorful garden of Tang poetry, there are many famous articles describing music. Li Qi, a poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, is one of the most outstanding. He has Qin Song, listens to Dongda to play the piano and send messages, and listens to An Wanshan to play chestnut songs. He described the chestnut sound of Anwan Mountain like this: "I like listening more; But few people know that there is a long, withered old Bai Han, and there are nine little phoenixes chirping at each other. It's like a dragon singing and a tiger roaring and generate at the same time, and it's like the autumn sound of spring in autumn. Suddenly it became the lament of Yuyang and the depression of Huang Yun during the day; They have become spring on the willows again, just like flowers in the royal garden, illuminating their eyes with beauty. " Besides, Bai Juyi, a contemporary of Han Yu, is the most famous. He described the pipa sound like this: "the big strings are like rain, and the small strings are like secret words;" Humming, whispering-and then mixing together, like pouring large and small pearls into a plate of jade. Between Guan Ying's words, the bottom of the flower is slippery, so you can't swallow the spring scenery and flow under the ice. The ice spring is cold and astringent, as if it can't pass; And notes, fade away. The depth of sadness and the hiding of sadness are more told in silence than in voice. A silver vase suddenly burst, pouring out a stream of water, jumping out of the conflict and blow between armored horses and weapons. Before she put down the pick, her stroke was over, and all four strings made a sound, just like tearing silk. " These works make full use of image thinking, and through vivid and appropriate metaphors, they make such a detailed description of fleeting music that readers can still feel the specific musical image from these descriptions after thousands of years. What superb artistic skills are needed!

What kind of person is Ying Shi? I can't tell from Korean poetry. As it happens, Li He, a talented young man, also has a song "Listen to Piano Music", which contains the phrase "Monk Zhu stands in front of me and is my door", so we know that he is a monk who is good at playing the piano. Li He's song also gives a very vivid description of the sound of the piano: "The leaves of hibiscus fall in autumn, and the king rises at night to visit the sky." Dark Chen Peiqing knocks water jade (crystal) and crosses the sea to attract white deer. Whoever sees the sword go to the long bridge will see Chun Zhu's immersion. "Through rich associations, the poet used a series of metaphors, myths and allusions, such as hibiscus leaves falling, autumn bears leaving the nest, a night outing of the king of Yue, hitting a crystal, attracting deer, cutting jiaozi around, Zhang Xu cursive script and so on. To create a vague, unpredictable and concrete musical image for us, and the secret lies in the successful application of image thinking.

And Han Yu's poem "Listening to the Master of Lingxiu Playing the Piano" is neither bound by the frame of the previous generation of poets, nor is it the same as the contemporary poets. If Li He's piano songs are dreamy and romantic, then Han Yu's piano poems are impassioned, true and meticulous, with strong realistic characteristics. It's really a competition, each with its own strengths!

Han Yu's poems can be divided into two paragraphs. The first paragraph (beginning-"a thousand zhangs are strong"). Using image thinking, through a variety of very appropriate metaphors, try to imitate the cadence of the piano, full of changes. "I am very close to my children, and I hate you." It means that the piano sounds very soft and thin at first, just like children whispering and quarreling. This is a common technique used by pianists when they first play, but it is so real and affectionate after being described by poets! Then, "the line becomes magnificent, and the warriors go to the enemy field." The sound of the piano suddenly changed, like thousands of warriors rushing to the battlefield to kill the enemy. The high-spirited voice suddenly made the listener nervous. These two sentences not only vividly express the excitement of the piano, but also blend into the listener's demeanor, which can be said in a word. If we continue, "catkins have no roots and the world is wide and far away", the sound of the piano will suddenly become melodious, like catkins flying all over the sky, like floating clouds in the sky, which makes people unpredictable and makes the listener's mood drift with the flow. Just as the listener was intoxicated with the melodious sound of the piano, "all birds are singing together and suddenly I see a lonely phoenix." Suddenly, the sound of the piano changed again, as if I heard birds singing. In the sound of birds and songs, there is clearly a phoenix singing loudly. "You can't climb straight", the piano is getting louder and louder, like a climber struggling to climb to the top inch by inch. It is at this moment that the piano is getting sharper and thinner, and it is difficult to support it. It seems that someone slipped down from above and fell into the abyss, which made the listener's mood suddenly shake. The piano is getting lower and lower ... finally, it stops leisurely.

In this description, the poet makes full use of concrete and sensible images, and in the description, he is as varied as possible. Also, "come for no reason, stop for no reason, the rules are strange." ("Tang Song Ci Yao Ju" Volume II)

In the second paragraph ("Yu Yu"-the end), I strongly praised Ying Shi's superb skill in responding to the poet after listening to the music. I never knew music, and I, a person who didn't know music, was moved to fidget after listening to Ying Shi's piano performance, and my clothes were covered with tears. I really can't stand it, so I have to suddenly stretch out my hand to stop the clever teacher from playing any more. Master Ying, you are really a superb music master. Listening to your performance seems to make me feel cold, hot, cold and excited. I really can't stand it! The metaphor "I have no ice charcoal in my intestines" is simply whimsical and unheard of; However, how vivid and appropriate it is to use it here! We have to admire Han Yu's artistic skill.

This passage praises Ying Shi's superb skills through the poet's profound feelings and strong reactions after listening to the piano, which is much better than positive praise. At the end of Li Jie's "Qin Ge", he said, "It's three hundred miles from here, in Huai, and official business is waiting for him, so this is farewell, and the road is once again under the cloudy mountain." The poet described the pianist's exquisiteness with his unique feeling of quitting and retiring after listening to the piano, which was completely different from Han Yu's writing style. This shows how important originality is in poetry creation.

In a word, this is an outstanding poem describing music, and the poet reproduces the wonderful sound of the piano for us with extremely refined and vivid language; In addition, he praised the pianist's exquisite skills in a unique way, which is worthy of our repeated recitation and appreciation.
