Meng Haoran (689-740), male, Han nationality, poet of the Tang Dynasty. The courtesy name was Haoran, a native of Xiangyang, Xiangzhou (now Xiangyang, Hubei), and was known as "Meng Xiangyang" in the world. Haoran, a young man who loves integrity, likes to help people in need, and is good at poetry. Because he was not yet an official, he lived in seclusion in Lumen Mountain and wrote more than 200 poems. Meng Haoran and Wang Wei, another landscape and pastoral poet, are collectively known as "Wang Meng".
