This couplet was carved on the wooden pillars on both sides of the main hall of Li Bai Temple after quarrying Taibai Building, and it is also a collection of Li Bai's poems. This couplet is from Li Bai's "Farewell Secretary of Xuanzhouzhuang": "Great writers write for you. In heaven, I am Xiao Xie who grew up beside you. We all aim high and look at the sky and the moon, but the water is still flowing. Although we cut with swords and raise our glasses to eliminate our worries, since the world can't meet our aspirations, I will let go of my hair and take a fishing boat tomorrow." The original intention is to praise the articles of the Han Dynasty and the works of Jian 'an poets, with bold words and vigorous language. It's full of energy. The second part comes from Li Bai's poem "Answering Huzhou Sima to ask who Bai is": "Violet lay, was demoted to immortality, and the name of the restaurant was hidden for 30 years. Why did Huzhou Sima ask? Jin Su Tathagata is a backward person. " "Xianxian" was originally another name for Li Bai, which meant that Li Bai was a genius, and non-human people had to be demoted to the mortal world. Li Bai was very satisfied with this title and called himself "fallen immortal" many times in his poems. This couplet not only cleverly collects Li Bai's poems without revealing traces, but also praises Li Bai's poetic style and peerless writing style.
