Wu Meng, an eight-year-old child in Jin Dynasty, was very filial and took care of his parents. His family is poor, and there is no mosquito net in his sleeping place. Every summer night, many mosquitoes bite people. Wu Meng let mosquitoes bite themselves at will and feed on blood. Although there are many mosquitoes, they don't disperse, lest they fly away and bite their father. I love my father in every way.

Blood-sucking Mosquitoes tells the story of a dutiful son how to protect his loved ones from mosquitoes when they are rampant. This is the seventeenth story in Twenty-four Filial Pieties.
Wu Meng was born in the Jin Dynasty (now Nanchang, Jiangxi). I have been filial to my parents since I was a child. Wu Meng's family is very poor, and there are no mosquito nets on the collapsed bed. There are many mosquitoes in the south. Every summer, big, black mosquitoes bite the whole family, making them unable to sleep well.
Eight-year-old Wu Meng felt sorry for his parents after a hard day's work. In order to let them sleep well, he thought of a way. Every night, Wu Meng sleeps naked beside her parents. The child's house is delicate, and mosquitoes gather on him, more and more. Wu Meng let mosquitoes bite and suck blood, but he didn't drive away at all.
