Appreciation and Translation of Su Shi's Ten Skillful Poems —— Two Selected Poems

Ten skill poems, two original texts: Ling Bo of Wushe Club has muscles like snow, holding a poem of red leaves. I also shed a bowl of heartless tears, and I hate shaving without meeting.

I am playing the shakuhachi flute at the head of Chunyu Building. When will I return to Zhejiang Tide? No one knows how many bridges you have crossed on the cherry blossoms.

Appreciation of ten ability poems: choose two; Su, a great genius in China's modern history, was born in Xiangshan (now Zhongshan), Guangdong. Being a monk shaved three times and returned to the world three times. In particular, less than a year after he became a monk for the third time, he hurried back to the secular world, and even the monk's clothes and shoes were too late to change, so he returned to the secular world as a monk and poet. As a passionate young man full of hope for social improvement, he is passionate from time to time, wearing a suit and tie, giving speeches and shouting for the revolution; Sometimes I feel depressed, wear a monk's robe, escape from the Zen altar, and seek spiritual comfort in the blue light and yellow scroll. The skills of these two poems fully show Su's romantic talent and inner contradictions.

Liu Wuji once pointed out that Su's Poem of Skills was written by his favorite Japanese geisha, Bai Zhufengzi. However, Su's life experience is very special. He joined Buddhism. He knew that life and death were impermanent and could not guarantee the stability and happiness of Baizhu's family, so he never married Baizhu. The first poem chosen here expresses this contradiction in his heart. "Five Houses of Ling Bo Muscle as Snow" refers to the legendary Indian goddess Five Houses, which is a metaphor for white bamboo, saying that she is as light as a fairy and her skin is as snow as jade; "Holding a poem with a red leaf" refers to Bai Zhu's love and affection for his poetic talent, and the allusion here also implies Bai Zhu's experience of proposing to him. However, the poet has become a monk and his heart is full of difficulties. Although he loves everything, he has to decline this beautiful and moving girl. The last two sentences of the poem reveal the contradiction of the poet: tears are sentient things, and poets prefer to describe tears as heartless; Meeting is the beginning of love, but it leaves a regret of hate. The poet imitates the Tang Dynasty poem "Return to the Pearl with tears, I wish I could not meet each other and get married", and changes "Can't get married" to "Can't shave my head", which on the one hand shows his deep affection and help, and on the other hand contains infinite helplessness and sadness.

The second poem reflects the poet's bleak life experience and loneliness full of hesitation and confusion about the future. From the beginning, Spring Rain's shakuhachi flute created a state of sadness and confusion in the rain: the poet leaned against the small building of Japanese houses in the drizzle and listened to Bai Zhu playing Spring Rain on the shakuhachi flute, which triggered the poet's endless homesickness. "Spring Rain" refers not only to the spring scenery in reality, but also to the name of the song played by the flute, pun intended. "When will you back to Zhejiang tide? It not only means that the flute caused him to miss his old country, but also means that he paid attention to the revolutionary trend of thought in China at that time. " I don't know how to break a whore points out the poet's status as a monk and hints at the poet's sad life experience. What bridge did you cross over the cherry blossoms? "It tells the sadness of life and the feeling that life is like a dream. The cherry blossoms in Japan are gorgeous and short-lived. The poet walks alone in the cherry blossoms floating all over the sky, but it is also a rest, and he doesn't know where to go. Su expressed his homesickness and his perception of life with a dreamy poetic scene.

The above two poems are typical of the romantic "feeling monk" and the wandering "poetry monk" in the Soviet Union. After reading these two poems, this talented, romantic and fantastic young man, who combines excitement and melancholy, is fixed in our minds. It's a pity that the sky is true. Sue only spent 35 spring and autumn years on earth, and she died of poverty and illness. He used his splendid life to create a wonderful flower in China's modern literary world.
