Medical use of Chimonanthus praecox

Soak 6 grams of Chimonanthus praecox with ulcerated rash and slight scald in 60 ml of peanut oil or sesame oil, and apply topically after two weeks, 2-3 times a day.

Acute conjunctivitis, 9 grams of wintersweet and 9 grams of chrysanthemum, decocted in water, added with a little honey, and taken by drinking.

Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sore throat, 6 grams of Chimonanthus praecox, 9 grams of Radix Scrophulariae, 9 grams of Radix Isatidis, decocted in water.

9 grams of Chimonanthus praecox or iron chopsticks (roots or branches) with chronic cough, decocted in water.

Lumbar muscle strain, rheumatoid arthritis Chimonanthus praecox root 15g (scraping off the outer thin skin), decocting in water.

Asthmatic Chimonanthus praecox fibrous root 1.5g, as the end, swallowed with yellow wine.

Summer heat, dizziness and thirst, 9 grams of wintersweet, 9 grams of flat tofu, 6 grams of mung bean coat, half a slice of fresh lotus leaf, and decoction. Or the right amount of leaves, boiled water to make tea.
