Question 2: What does Guanyin mean by sitting on Kirin? Meaning: Guanyin Kirin sends a child!
Question 3: What Guanyin rides an elephant is not what Guanyin rides an elephant, but which Bodhisattva's mount is an elephant. The four major Buddhas in China: Manjusri, Guanyin, Pu Xian and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. The mounts of these four Bodhisattvas are completely different, and their symbolic meanings are also different. Manjusri Bodhisattva mount is a green lion with a fairy mouth. The image of Manjusri Bodhisattva is usually holding a sword and riding a lion, which is a metaphor for cutting off troubles with a sword and scaring demons with a lion's roar. Its Dojo is in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi. Use Pu Xian as a threat to Sakyamuni Buddha. That is, Manjusri waits on the left side of Tathagata on a lion, and Pu Xian waits on the right side on a white elephant. If these two threats are used to demonstrate Dharma, Manjusri will show wisdom, wisdom and evidence, Pu Xian will show reason, determination and action, and * * * will show the perfection of Buddhism's reason, determination and action. Manjusri Bodhisattva and Pu Xian * * * are the first of all Bodhisattvas, and they often help to promote the transformation and interests of the Tathagata. The mount of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra is the six-toothed white elephant of the tooth fairy. Together with Manjusri Bodhisattva riding a lion, it is a threat to Pilu Zena Buddha, collectively known as "Hua Yan San Sheng". White elephants represent willingness to be thorough and diligent; Six teeth are six paramita-giving, keeping precepts, enduring humiliation, diligence, meditation and wisdom. Buddhism says that the six-toothed white elephant was transformed by a bodhisattva to show the spirit of strength and symbolize "the advantage of being willing to be extensive and complete." The symbolic power of nature is unparalleled, that is to say, when we act, we must be tenacious and fearless in order to succeed. Guanyin Bodhisattva is mounted by Jin Guangxian's golden hair, also known as "Chaotian Roar". Lu is commonly known as looking up at the sky and yelling at the sky: Lu is commonly known as looking up at the sky and yelling at the sky. It is said that he is the son of the Dragon King and has the habit of watching. The dragon at the top of the watchpost in China growled at the sky, which was regarded as uploading providence and releasing people's hearts. It is also recorded in the literature that the mount of Guanyin Bodhisattva is "roaring to heaven". What about cutting cooking things with leaf sheaths? Modern Chinese Dictionary explains: "Animals are named like dogs and eat people." It is said that even the dragon is no match for it, let alone eating people. Master Dong Xuan in Qing Dynasty recorded in Strange Tales: "There is a beast in the East China Sea, which can eat borneol and fly up and down. It is fierce and unusual. Every time you fight a dragon, a few feet of fire will come out of your mouth. The dragon is invincible. In the summer of the 25th year of Kangxi, Brother Xunyong V of Pingyang County swam into the air and fought for three days and nights. People saw three jiaozi and two dragons, killing two jiaozi in one dragon together, and all the schools fell into the valley. One of them, a foot or two long, has scales like a horse. There is still fire in the scales after death, and the cover is sick! Ba Yao is fishy, like riding a lion, and it is called "listening attentively". Diligent listening, also known as "Kirin", "Listening" and "Good Listening", is the treasure of Jiuhuashan Town, and it is said that it is the mount of the Bodhisattva of Jindizang. In the golden land, Zhuo Xi Jiuhua is hidden, and he is determined to practice. Because he listens sincerely and stays with him day and night, wherever he goes, he will eventually become a Buddha. Buddhism respects listening as a god dog. Later, it became popular because it understood Buddhism, human nature and evil spirits, and was regarded as a symbol of good luck. It is a totem and sacred object from Buddhist rumors and folk deduction. Listen carefully to the images of a group of animals and put everything together. Tiger head, corner, dog ear, dragon body, lion tail and unicorn foot are unique in shape and rich in imagination. The world treasures it as "the treasure of the town house", "the respect of the temple", "the spirit of heaven and earth" and "the collection of animals", which is widely accepted as a collection. From the modeling point of view, its unique horn symbolizes that it can accept the information of the universe, as if it were used as an "antenna"; (second, it can protect itself. Its dog ears listen to the audio of the universe and transmit it to believers to distinguish right from wrong. Its dragon body shows good luck, its tiger head shows wisdom and courage, and it will never give in when it encounters difficulties. Its lion's tail shows patience and ambition, and insisting on doing anything is victory. Its unicorn foot is regarded as stable, kind to others, harmonious, and good for treasure. The images of Tibetan bodhisattvas in Buddhist temples in China are also very distinctive. Generally speaking, a bodhisattva is a picture of the unity of heaven and man, wearing a crown of jewels, celestial clothes and garlands. Most of the bodhisattvas in Tibet are bald or wearing pilu crowns and robes. One is holding Zhang Xi, the other is holding lotus flowers, or holding banners, orbs and so on.
Question 4: Who knows ~! Is Guanyin sitting on the unicorn? ! origin
"Opening the light" officially comes from Taoism, and opening the light is one of the Taoist instruments. Buddhism does not open the light originally, but Buddhism has a ceremony to pray for Buddha statues, which is similar to opening the light. Up to now, they are all unified and called light. The opening ceremony of Buddhism was first seen in the five years of Taiping and Xingguo in the Northern Song Dynasty (980). The Buddhist Ritual Sutra was translated by a Buddhist master from Uttar Pradesh in Kaifeng Taiping xingguo temple Translation Institute. From a religious point of view, before the mascot was lit, like all sentient beings in the world, the real gas field was polluted by ignorance and dirt, which could not inspire real energy. Enlightening means that practitioners, with their own practice, will and charm, pray for the blessings of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and dharma protector dragon day in response to the heart of the Tao and the powerful energy in the universe, so as to clean up the dirt in the self-nature of the enlightened object. The mascot of Lingyunbao Kaiguang inspires the original energy connotation of the baby, and its value cannot be measured by money.
Opening the light is a religious ceremony, which can be divided into Buddhist opening and Taoist opening according to different religions. Opening the light originally comes from Taoism, which is one of the rituals of Taoism, that is, injecting the invisible and magical qi in the universe into the idol, and the idol will have boundless spirituality.
Buddhism opens the light
Turn on the light to introduce
Buddhism opens the light, except for Buddha, Bodhisattva, King Kong and other gods, other objects are not called opening the light, just for blessing. Master Miao Xiang of Dabei Temple said: "There is no such thing as opening a light in Buddhism. Nowadays, many monasteries turn the opening of light into a way to collect money, which is contrary to the purpose of Buddhism. It is ok to worship Buddha. "
The location of the Buddhist Dharma Meeting is the famous Buddhist Dojo, and the wizards attending the ceremony should give sufficient precepts and hold formal precepts. A mage should be a mage with high spiritual achievements and the abbot of a temple.
The opening ceremony of Buddhism follows strict opening ceremony. According to the different inheritance of Han, Tibetan, Southern and French veins, the version of the opening ceremony is also different.
Before the opening ceremony, a cleaning ceremony is usually held first. This ceremony can be held at the same time as the opening ceremony; It can also be held on the eve of the opening ceremony. The number of chanting (incantations) when turning on the light depends on the length and scale of the light.
