Qinyuan Chunxue wrote in Notes on a Night Walk in Peking

Qinyuan Spring Snow was written in Beiping. It is a poem describing the winter in Beiping. As for me, a southerner, the first time I came to Peking was also in winter. At that time, the weather in Peiping was very cold, but I decided to go on a night walk to experience the night in Peiping.

Pedestrian Street

The route I chose starts from Wangfujing Pedestrian Street and goes all the way to Tiananmen Square. The streets were brightly lit, people were coming and going, and it was very lively. I walked along the crowd and felt the night atmosphere of Peiping.

On the road, I saw a lot of interesting things. There are stalls selling snacks, small shops selling handicrafts, and some street performers performing. I stopped and looked for a moment, then continued walking.

Forbidden City

When we walked to the Forbidden City, it was completely dark. There are lanterns hanging on the walls of the Forbidden City, which looks very beautiful. I walked into the Forbidden City and felt the atmosphere of this ancient palace.

In the Forbidden City, I saw many precious cultural relics and historical relics. These things made me feel the history and cultural heritage of Peiping.

Tiananmen Square

Finally, I came to Tiananmen Square. There were many people in the square, but I still found a quiet corner and sat down to admire this great building.

Standing on Tiananmen Square, I felt the solemnity and majesty of Peiping. This square has witnessed China’s history and China’s future.

Ending

The night in Peking is very beautiful and very interesting. During my night walk, I felt the history and culture of Peiping, as well as the enthusiasm and friendliness of the people of Peiping. Qinyuan Chunxue was written in Beiping, which also made me feel the charm of this city more deeply.
