Su Shi, First History

Song sushi

The morning drums beat, and the west wind hunted pictures.

My hometown is far away, and my meaning is infinite.

It's pathetic that Jinshui is gone.

Pentium over the Buddha's foot and make a flat river.

There are Zen visitors in the wild market, and the fishing platform looks for dusk smoke.

The phase will come first, and the water will flow forever.

This is Su Shi's earliest poem, written in the fourth year of Jiayou (1059). At that time, Su Shi and Su Zhe had been selected. After the mother's funeral, they returned to Meishan, Sichuan, and went to Beijing with their father. The father and son took the Minjiang waterway, went out of Shu and out of the gorge, and went straight down to Jiangling. When Su Shi was twenty-four years old, he saw all the mountains and rivers. "Miscellaneous things touch on the middle, which comes from chanting." Father and son took advantage of "nothing on the boat, gambling and drinking", you sang me out, wrote more than 100 poems, and collected them, called "Southbound Collection". "The First History" was written in the winter of this year, on the occasion of starting from history. At that time, Su's father and son were famous for moving the capital, and the articles spread all over the world. ?

Young Su Shi is full of pride, "there are thousands of words in his writing and thousands of volumes in his chest", "he has the ambition of the present", and he is eager to serve the country and show his ambition. However, the loving mother died recently, and once she wants to leave her hometown where she was born and raised, Su Shi can't help showing her incomparable attachment to her hometown. In the morning, drums burst, the west wind hunted and colorful flags fluttered, and I couldn't help but be moved. Looking back, the Minjiang River in my hometown is drifting away, like a winding line; Qingyi River and Dadu River are crystal clear, so beautiful and lovely. At the confluence of the three rivers, it galloped past the foot of Leshan Lingyun Buddha and suddenly entered an open and magnanimous Ma Pingchuan. A grass and a tree are lyrical, and a mountain and a water are lyrical. "Who are the eyes and ears?" All arouse the poet's feelings of parting. The beauty of the poet's emotion lies in that he does not express his feelings directly, but appeals to images, and sends his feelings outside the painting, writing them implicitly and meaningfully. ?

Su Shi's poems are eloquent, "as rough as running water, without definite quality at first", and his posture is changeable. As soon as the poet turned the corner, he suddenly remembered that he had met Zong Yi, a fellow monk, at Diaoyutai to say goodbye. Zong Yi, a monk, has been waiting there for a long time, waiting for his friend's arrival. He only sees fog, but the sound of water is gurgling. The last four sentences have the meaning of Li Shangyin's "when * * * cuts the candle at the west window, he talks about the rain at night", which further strengthens his attachment to his hometown. The poet expressed his desire in the scene where his imaginary friends waited for a long time, and bid farewell to his nostalgia when his friends met.

In the whole poem, the poet expresses his simple and sincere homesickness through artistic means of sketch and associative imagination. This sincere emotion runs through his life's poems, and even though his career is ups and downs, he never forgets it. However, "the hometown is far away, and the meaning is endless." At this time, Su Shi was full of ambition, ambitious, determined and still swaggering.

As an early work of Su Shi, this poem seems naive in simplicity, but the true feelings contained in it are very precious. .

Characters' Stories in Poetry

Su Dongpo and a monk live in a fishing club.

? Between Lingyun Mountain and Wuyou Mountain, there is a prominent mountain pass, which is said to be the Diaoyutai where Su Dongpo fishes.

Su Dongpo studied in the scenic Lingyun Mountain when he was young. Tired of watching, I took a fishing rod to Diaoyutai for fishing.

At that time, Zong Yi, a monk from Wuyou Temple, often went fishing in Diaoyutai. Zong Yi has virtue, medical skill and poetry. He is humorous and unconventional. Although she is over 50 years old, she has become a best friend who never forgets her years. Two good friends often go to Diaoyutai to meet, or fish, or write poems, or learn from each other, and have a deep friendship.

Once, Su Dongpo asked a monk to go fishing in Diaoyutai. Su Dongpo was young and competitive, and arrived at Diaoyutai early in the morning. I don't know if I'm waiting left and right, but I can't see the monk. The sun has risen high, and a monk came in a hurry. Su Dongpo was angry and casually scolded: "No baldness, no toxicity, no baldness, no toxicity, no baldness."

Zong Yi didn't get angry after hearing this. He answered slowly, "bad, bad, good, good, good."

Zong Yi went on to say, "Good boy, you are cursing a kind bald man!" " "

Su Dongpo was cold and asked with a smile, "Which lover did you meet? What good things have you done? Good point, I will spare you. If you can't say it well, you will be punished as a poem! "

The monk Zong Yi said, "Bro, don't be ridiculous. I'm here for an appointment. On the way, I met a firewood girl. She fell off a cliff and broke her foot. Do you think I can come fishing again? "

Su Dongpo listened and asked, "How is that girl now?"

Zong Yi replied, "I just bandaged her, and now I'm still sitting on the side of the road moaning."

? "Why don't you take her home?" ?

"A monk can carry her? I have to come and beg you! " ?

Dongpo shook his head and said, "I am a young man, can I carry a big girl?" No, no. "

Zong Yi, a monk, said, "Saving people is like putting out a fire. You young people should be brave! "

Su Dongpo hesitated for a moment, then suddenly realized, "Yes, yes, saving people is important, saving people is important!" ! Let's go and have a look first! "Say, with a monk came to Wu Youshan back path. A girl is sitting on the side of the road "Ouch! Ouch, "groaned, Dongpo hurried forward, asked the girl's address, picked her up and left.

Zong Yi monk looked at Su Dongpo's back, cocked his thumb and praised him: "This is a good young man who is eager to learn. Say hello to his character!"

Zong Yi monk once again invited Su Dongpo to write couplets. Zong Yi waited at Diaoyutai for a long time before he saw Su Dongpo panting. It turned out that he was so fascinated by reading that he forgot to make an appointment. Zong Yi saw Dongpo in a hurry and blurted out a couplet: "Grass carp snores and breathes on its second gills."

Su Dongpo thought, the monk called me grass carp. It turned out that Su Dongpo's surname became "grass", "fish" and "grain", and the grain was hidden in "grass"? Chinese is just a word "Su". The word "cheeks" is a clever metaphor for Su Dongpo's ranking. Su Dongpo secretly admired Zong Yi's wit.

I was thinking about the second couplet when I suddenly saw an egret flying over the Minjiang River and singing. As soon as Dongpo's eyes lit up, he immediately made a couplet: "Min Bi is noisy."

Zong Yi was shocked. He was fierce. He called me the crane on the Minjiang River. He smiled and said, "The afterlife is terrible! The afterlife is awesome! " It turns out that Su Dongpo split a monk's zong zi into "Mi Shi", and the pronunciation of the treasure prefix njbo (cotton) and "Mi Shi" is homophonic with Min Yi, and "Yi Zui" is a pun on the French name. This time, Zong Yi was persuaded.

Zong Yi, a monk, loved Su Dongpo's talent very much and wanted him to stay in Lingyun Mountain, so he took the joint exam: "How long can you have leisure to travel around the sea? Don't live up to meeting a monk for a long time and talking about the vicissitudes of Diaoyutai for a long time. "

Su Dongpo thanked the monk Zong Yi for his kindness and was reluctant to leave the venerable old man. However, he is in the prime of life and longs for the end of the world. How can he be alone in one mountain and one water? So I sang the next couplet: "Time flies and there is nowhere to find it. The most difficult thing is that Wanjiasheng Buddha protects charcoal from entering Beijing. "

Zong Yi monk understood Su Dongpo's feelings of serving the country, so he didn't leave him. Soon, Su Dongpo went to Beijing with his father, Su Xun, and his younger brother, Su Zhe. On the eve of leaving history, Zong Yi and Su Dongpo came to Diaoyutai specially. Two old friends were sitting on the rocks where they used to fish, talk about poetry and paper, watching the smoke in the evening and listening to the sound of the three rivers, and their hearts were full of sadness of parting. Later, Su Dongpo recalled the scene and wrote such a poem:

There are Zen guests in the wild market, and the fishing platform looks for dusk smoke, which is determined to arrive first, and the flowing water is gurgling for a long time.
