Introduction
"Hui'an Woman" is a modern poem written by contemporary writer Shu Ting in April 1981. This poem has four stanzas. The first stanza writes about the unreachable desire for life, the second stanza writes about the Hui'an women who are full of dreams for life, the third stanza writes about the Hui'an women's tenacious endurance of suffering, and the last stanza writes about the Hui'an women. The beautiful image and true fate of the girl remind people not to only notice that the Hui'an girl stands between the sea and the sky, but ignore the Hui'an girl's "bare feet" and the alkali beaches and rocks she "stepped on."
The whole poem expresses the author's praise for the excellent qualities of Hui'an women and his concern for their suffering lives. The structure of the poems is relatively even and has musical beauty.
