A cluster of peach blossoms is blooming silently, as if it has no owner. Is it scarlet or pale red?
Appreciation of Works
This seven-character quatrain was written by Du Fu when he settled in Chengdu Caotang. At that time, the poet's life was relatively stable, and it was just in the spring, so the poem was filled with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
In the first sentence, the towering Huangshi Tower stands tall; The river is surging and flowing. One static and one dynamic set each other off, forming a wonderful landscape painting. In this pleasant spring, the wind is blowing gently, and the warm days are warm, so the poet feels a little sleepy. So the poet leans on the breeze and sings with poetry.
The last two sentences focus on the peach blossoms seen by poets. Although the number is small, there are only a few clusters, but they are different in depth and have their own characteristics. Two words "love" and two words "red" show the poet's love for peach blossoms. And ending with questions adds a bit of lively and cheerful atmosphere to this poem.
