What is the origin of the word promise? It is related to the interest countries of the Western Zhou Dynasty.

The word "promise" means progress, skill and ability. Parents all want their children to be productive, but what is the origin of the word "productive"? In fact, this is related to the interests of the vassal States named Ji in the Western Zhou Dynasty. There was a state from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period, and its capital was Qingliang Temple in the southwest of Xixian County. On one occasion, Guo led an army to crusade against Zheng, a powerful country, and the result was a crushing defeat, which was considered to be overreaching. However, since Guo dares to challenge, it means that his own strength should not be very bad. Finally, the country was destroyed by Chu in the early Spring and Autumn Period. Let's introduce the origin of "promise" for everyone, and let's get to know it together.

We are most familiar with the history of the country of interest, which comes from the wife of interest in the Spring and Autumn Period. It is said that King Chu Wen died for her. My wife was originally named Gui and Chen. She married Hou and went to visit her relatives. Because Cai Hou's wife is Mrs Xi's sister, she stayed in Cai Guo for the time being. My brother-in-law Cai Hou thinks Mrs. Xi is beautiful and frivolous. When Hou learned that Cai was stronger than himself, he was furious and did not dare to send troops. He had to go to the State of Chu to instigate King Wen of Chu to pretend to attack, and then asked Cai to come to support him, so that Chu could destroy Cai properly. King Chu Wen readily agreed, so he sent troops to attack the country, and Hou sent people for help. As a nepotism country, Cai Hou naturally got support, so Chu turned to attack Cai Guo and captured Cai Hou. In retaliation, Prince Cai praised the beauty in front of the king of Chu, and the king of Chu was very moved. After destroying Cai, he annexed the land and took it for himself.

As for the history of Xi 'an, we only stay in the Spring and Autumn Period. The story of "Fa Zheng after Xi" is contained in Zuo Zhuan's Eleven Years of Hidden Gong, which is the earliest record of Xi in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. However, the origin and development of interest countries or interest families in Xi Zhou Dynasty and even Shang Dynasty has always been a blank. Until the end of the last century, 25 Shang and Zhou tombs were excavated in Mang Jang Jin, luoshan county, Henan Province, and a large number of precious bronze ritual vessels and jade articles were unearthed, including 29 inscriptions with the word "Xi" such as Yi Xi, Xi Bo, Xi Ge and Xi Jue, and a heavy weapon symbolizing national strength was unearthed in one tomb. "It is recorded ... xi Bo ..." In Oracle Bone Inscriptions, this indicates that the country is an earl, while the country of Ji surname in Zhou Dynasty was rebuilt on the basis of the country of Shang Dynasty. The exact location of the Shang Dynasty's resting country should be in luoshan county and Xixian County of Henan Province today. It is also said that the interest countries of Shang Dynasty moved eastward to Xixian County when Luoshan and the Western Zhou Dynasty were re-sealed, which is called "innovation". Although we have mastered a certain amount of information about ancient interest countries through archaeology, there are still many unsolved mysteries, such as the surname, founding time, first monarch and so on.

Oracle Bone Inscriptions has the shape of "nose", which means "self", and its pictographic character is "nose". The nose is the most conspicuous part of a person's face, and people will point their fingers at your nose. Once you hit a wall, your nose will definitely be the first to get hurt, so when you are rejected, you will often say "hit a rebuff". When someone points at you, you will say "point at my nose". Because the nose is high and towering, it is at the forefront of the human body, so it has the meaning of beginning, such as self. There is an indicator similar to exhaled soda under the nose, which means "breathing". Shuo Wen Jie Zi says, "Breathe, breathe." Duan Yucai's note: "Asthma, asthma also. When people are short of breath, they will breathe and rest. " Extended to the name of rest. Everything in the world will grow naturally under reasonable rest, so the word "interest" is extended to the interest of growth. The country needs to recuperate, and mankind needs to live forever. Therefore, the word "interest" has a meaning that children and grandchildren are endless, such as children's interest, that is, children; Interest, that is, the interest generated by the principal, and so on.

We have all heard of the word "fallow farmland". In Shan Hai Jing and Neijing, it says: "The thief steals the farmland and pats red water." This is a legend about fallow soil. It is said that Gun stole the fallow soil of Emperor Yao to stop the flood. Emperor Yao executed Gun, and then let his son Yu control the flood. Dayu finally managed the flood successfully by dredging. What is fallow? Legend is a kind of soil that can be continuously replicated and expanded. But in fact, fallow refers to the land that has been turned loose and waiting for cultivation. It is said that the reason why Emperor Yao killed Gun was that Gun privately filled the soil (fallow) that these people worked so hard to plow, which seriously affected agricultural cultivation. The people of Xizao tribe hope that future generations will have "promise", so they use "interest" to specify their names and countries, and they have high hopes.

The rest of the area is adjacent to Huaihe River in the south and Dabie Mountain in the north, which is the throat artery for the Central Plains to enter the Yangtze River basin. In the middle and late Shang Dynasty, in order to expand the territory and control the southern Huai area, Wu Ding married An. Judging from a large number of weapons and axes unearthed, Xi people should have certain military execution ability. The famous "History of Xi" was built when Chu perished, which enjoyed a high reputation in the Spring and Autumn Period, and was also inseparable from this military advantage handed down from generation to generation. "Witch god, women's interest in the second chariot. Forever. " In Shang Dynasty, Wu Ding married a woman from an interest country and strengthened diplomatic relations with the interest country, thus controlling the military power of the interest country. In the Book of Songs Yanwu, there is a poem "Tart Yanwu, attack Jingchu". Yanwu, namely Shang Wu Ding, shows that Wu Ding once attacked Jingchu. According to historical records, Jingchu was very active as early as the summer, often harassing the Central Plains in the north, and it was even more rampant during the "Nine Inversions" of the Shang Dynasty. The Justice of Shi Mao in the Tang Dynasty said: "In the past, Yin declined, the palace was not repaired, and Jingchu betrayed." It was not until Pan Geng moved to Yin and Wu Ding acceded to the throne that the Shang Dynasty slowly revived. It is estimated that Wu Ding's choice to marry Xi 'an is related to "attacking Jingchu". The capital of Yin is far away from Shang Dynasty, but it has close political ties with Shang Dynasty. Two bronze inscriptions were unearthed in Liujiazhuang, Yinxu, Anyang, indicating that the Yi people in Yindu once served in the royal family. The national strength is good, the prestige is quite high, and there have been brilliant moments.

During the great Dangdang period at the end of Shang Dynasty, Anren probably couldn't see the current situation clearly, which led to Anren standing in the wrong team and was finally eliminated by the Zhou family. Anren either moved or merged. Later, Zhou moved the remaining people eastward to Xixian County, and established the remaining country, named Ji, as the remaining country of the Western Zhou Dynasty. At the beginning of the Spring and Autumn Period, with the increasing pace of Chu going northward, China became the object of Chu's annexation, and the appearance of Madame accelerated the pace of the country's demise.
