A young woman in the boudoir will never be sad; Spring came dressed up and boarded Chui Building alone.
Suddenly I saw the green willows, and I felt uncomfortable; Oh, I regret that I shouldn't have asked my husband to find Hou Feng.
Translation:
Young women in boudoir never have the worry of lovesickness and parting. On a beautiful spring day, she dressed up and climbed the Cuilou happily. Suddenly, I saw the willows in the wild green and full of the breath of spring. I really regret letting my husband join the army and seal the post.
Creation background
This is a poem by in my heart forever written by Wang Changling, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, which describes the mood changes of senior ladies when they enjoy spring. At the beginning of the Tang dynasty, the national strength was strong, and joining the army for expedition and making meritorious deeds became an important way for people to "seek the title."
Short stories often intercept a cross section of life and show it in a concentrated way, so that readers can glimpse the leopard from this cross section. Quatrains are somewhat similar to short stories in this respect. This poem focuses on the subtle psychological changes of young women in the boudoir, so as to get a glimpse of the whole process from an instant.
