Mr. Li, a professor at Nanjing Normal University, told the reporter that Yuejiang Tower had buildings in history. Then, he listed various arguments to prove his point.
Preface to building a building
Yuejiang Tower was named by Zhu Yuanzhang himself. The word "Yuejiang" is elegant and verve. The proposed building is to commemorate Zhu Yuanzhang's defeat of Chen Youliang. He personally prefaced such an important Yuejiang Building and ordered ministers to take notes for it, which was unprecedented before the building was completed.
Yue
Zhu Yuanzhang said in "Re-reading Jiangta": I heard that the works of sages of all ages must be consulted before they can be revived. A saint has a long heart. Although I have learned thousands of things, I can't imitate them. This year, people who want to serve in prison will build a river tower in Lion Mountain to help them prosper, and they will blame me for a day, but they are afraid to stop and make the ministries work.
God has a signal to criticize me, so don't rush things, so stop working in fear. What "celestial phenomena" made the emperor stop working in fear? Looking up the history, I found that there were many eclipses and earthquakes, and Zhu Yuanzhang also had physical problems. In addition, in those years, the Yuan Dynasty was not peaceful, the coast was invaded by Japanese pirates, Kunming in the southwest was not peaceful, and Taihu Lake was seriously flooded. These many reasons may make the Yuejiang Tower "not in a hurry", and Zhu Yuanzhang ordered the construction to stop.
Later generations climb stairs.
As we all know, Yuejiang Tower has been built for 600 years, but Wang Shouren's masterpiece "Dengyuejiang Tower" shows that there are buildings here. If there is no building, how can he climb it? Wang Shouren's original poem "Climbing the River Tower";
The top floor is deserted and famous, and the high emperor Longjing once lived here.
Danger exists in the moral virtual barrier, guarding the barbarian stone city.
The mountains are ancient and modern, and the rivers turn into autumn sounds.
Who can give it to Jane when she is on the board? This old new pavilion is full of emotion.
Professor Li told the reporter, Yang Ming, the former minister of Nanjing Ministry of War. From this poem, I know that Wang Shouren boarded the Yuejiang Building. According to the above-mentioned Ming History, Zhu Yuanzhang did not build a building. But there are no buildings. Why did Wang Shouren use the word "Deng" as the title of his poem? Du Fu only used "Looking at Yue" instead of climbing Mount Tai. The first sentence of Wang Shouren's poem is "The top floor is empty and famous". Doesn't that mean the building at the top of Lion Mountain is empty and empty? It has existed since ancient times, indicating that there are buildings. So, were there any buildings later?
Well documented, irrefutable evidence
Professor Li thinks this may be because Lion Mountain is an important place to defend the Yangtze River. At some point, due to military needs, it may be built into a barracks with poor specifications. Presumably, this building is not such a high-standard memorial hall as Zhu Yuanzhang wanted to build. Perhaps it is because the foundation is not deep or the wood structure is easy to be eroded, or it is excavated by the military and the people, and even the architectural sites are destroyed. Some people may ask, why is there no record of a building under construction? Maybe it was because Lion Mountain was in a remote place and few people went there. Perhaps when the "post-style" simple building was under construction, few people knew about it, or there was no official record. In addition, this is a military important place, not a tourist area, so ordinary people can't go, let alone climb the building. Only military officer Wang Shouren can climb the stairs. He is good at poetry and writes it down in the form of poetry. Although this poem is unique, it is a rare architectural proof.
Argument 1: Professor Li said that the sentence "Yuejiang Tower flows toward the current and is hit by Jianghan people" in Ming Dynasty geographer Wang Shixing's "Visiting the Capital" (stationed in Nanjing) shows that Yuejiang Tower exists and is a proof of "having a building". It is said that the information of "Yue Jiang Lou Cheng" in Jiangsu Tongzhi Draft Memorabilia in the first year of Hongwu in Qing Dynasty.
Argument 2: Jinling Evening News reported on June 29, 2002 that there was a map of the Yangtze River waterway in Qing Dynasty (color map), which was found in the tower of Yuejianglou (Dragon). This is the second foundation of "having a building".
Argument 3: Recently, the works of two Qing Dynasty poets, Chen Wenshu and Gu Mei, provided by Mr. Dong Wang for the author's work "Yue Jiang Lou" also show buildings. The whole poem is as follows:
Yuejiang The Yuejiang Tower in Lulong Mountain, Chen Wenshu, Lou Qing was once a trip of high emperors and armored soldiers. He personally fought for Pingrong, but also swam because of breaking enemy trees. Shake the chest cloud around three mountains and strong mountains, the wind is high and Wan Li is autumn. After 500 years of personnel changes, the Yangtze River will still be sunny.
Chen Wenshu, a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang Province, a native of Jiaqing Juren, and a native of Quanjiao County, Anhui Province, is the author of Moling Collection.
Yue Jiang Lou Qing Gu Mei looks at the Yangtze River, and Huang Gao builds Yue Jiang Tower. Clouds open to attract the Milky Way, and the moon rises to Lulong Heaven and Earth. The green grass lives in Gongmian Road, and the green hills still surround Yuzhou. With Wen's experience, Hemi returned to the sorrow of six generations living under one roof.
Gu Mei, a native of Taicang, Jiangsu Province, has a collection of water towns.
Both Chen and Gu said in their poems that the Yuejiang Tower built by Zhu Yuanzhang was probably influenced by Song Lian's Yuejiang Tower in the ancient literature review, but they didn't see the relationship between Zhu Yuanzhang's Yuejiang Tower and him. Chen Wenshu's poems are regarded as the works of Daoguang period. He is the county magistrate of Quanjiao, Quanjiao is very close to Nanjing, and there is a collection of Moling, which is an old name in Nanjing. It is credible that he has been to Nanjing Yuejiang Building. Gu Mei explained from the poem that she had seen the "Yuejiang Building". The two of them climbed the building in the crisp autumn season, which shows that there is indeed a building. Professor Li believes that "there is no building for 600 years" should be understood as follows: Zhu Yuanzhang did not build the "Yuejiang Building". Buildings built by later generations for military purposes or landscapes are just simple buildings. The building was destroyed and disappeared due to disrepair or war. Later buildings were still called "Reading the River", but they were not proposed by Zhu Yuanzhang.
Professor Li expressed his special thanks to Mr. Liang Baiquan, Mr. Wang, Mr. Wang, Mr. Feng Yunqing and Mr. Dong Wang for their help in this conclusion, especially to Jinling Evening News.
