Creation background
This is a popular lyric in the middle Tang Dynasty. It is said that Li Kun, an envoy of Zhenhai in Yuan and Shi Dynasties, loved this word very much, and often ordered his concubine Du Qiuniang to sing at the banquet (see Du Mu's Poems of Du Qiuniang and his own notes).
