1. Soldiers retired from active service. Soldiers discharged from active service are called veterans. Especially the conscripts discharged from active service in China People's Liberation Army. People's Republic of China (PRC) began to implement compulsory military service in 1955, and established a system of regular conscription and discharge.
2. 1958, China People's Liberation Army discharged conscripts for the first time. After discharged from the army, conscripts are educated by the army to mobilize them to take an active part in socialist construction, join militia organizations, fulfill their obligations of reserve service, and be ready to respond to the call of the state and return to the army at any time. The people's governments at all levels shall, in accordance with the principle of "where they come from, where they go back", properly resettle veterans.
3. After the military retires, if there is a resettlement unit, the social insurance agency in the resettlement area shall go through the formalities for the transfer and continuation of the old-age insurance relationship according to the regulations; If there is no resettlement unit, it can be used as a flexible employee to participate in the basic old-age insurance for urban enterprise employees in the social insurance agency where it is transferred.
4. The state shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium for military personnel according to the sum of 20% of the monthly salary of military personnel during their active service. Of which 12% shall be paid by the unit and 8% by the individual. The financial department of the logistics (logistics, security) organ of the soldier's unit calculates the retirement pension insurance subsidy at one time when the soldier retires.
