I climbed high and looked around, only to find that the heavens and the earth were boundless, everything was covered with frost, and there were waves of westerly winds blowing in the wilderness. I feel the splendor of the world, just like the flowing water of a river, flowing relentlessly; Everything in the world is like the ups and downs of a river, but it is only a moment. The clouds in the sky covered the sun and its brilliance. Ordinary swallows and sparrows actually nest in precious/rare buttonwood trees, while noble mandarin ducks live in thorny thorns. I'd better leave here and go back to seclusion! I sang "Difficult to Walk" while playing the sword.

The style of this poem is "graceful and gentle", which belongs to the thirty-ninth of Li Bai's fifty-nine ancient styles. Antique was not written at the same time, but it is full of critical spirit, and so is this poem.

The creation time was about before Li Bai left Chang 'an to pay back the money. At this time, he had lived in Chang 'an for two or three years, and had a lot of experience on the disadvantages of the court and society. From his own experience, he saw the unreasonable employment phenomenon of the imperial court. In anger, he had the idea of seclusion and became a poem.

The first four sentences are "how long is the world?" . Frost is a mass of things in autumn, and the wind is cold. "This is autumn scenery you saw when you boarded the plane. Between heaven and earth, but see the harsh frost covering everything, the west wind blowing in the wilderness, endless emptiness and desolation. This scene is not only a natural picture in late autumn, but also a cold portrayal of society. The poet is not only cold, but also chilling.

The fifth and sixth sentences show that he is not going well. At the age of 4 1, he was called to worship Hanlin in Chang 'an. I was very excited at first and wanted to do something, but in the late Xuanzong period, politics became increasingly corrupt and dark, and talented people were repeatedly rejected and persecuted. Li Bai, honest by nature, could not flatter the black forces, so he was slandered by slanderers. After staying in Chang 'an for less than two years, he was forced to resign and leave Beijing, so he issued the above two poems. It can also be seen from these two sentences that he does not envy wealth.

The seventh and eighth sentences explain that his unfortunate fate is caused by "hiding brilliance in the daytime, floating clouds have no definite tail" and "wrong meeting" is the afterglow of the sunset, which means that the state affairs are unknown. "Floating clouds" is a metaphor for the evil forces that destroyed him.

The ninth and tenth sentences further illustrate the phenomenon of improper employment in the imperial court at that time. "Yuanyang" is a legendary expensive bird, "not a phoenix tree, not practicing, not drinking, not drinking"; "Tangerine" is two kinds of evil trees with thorns, and "Yuanyang" can't be stopped. However, Yuanyang actually lives here, which is in sharp contrast with the arrogant sparrow. The poet uses this dislocation phenomenon to compare the social phenomenon that a gentleman loses and a villain gains, and at the same time, he specifically shows that he is in a talented but not good situation.

The eleventh and twelfth sentences illustrate the poet's helplessness and helplessness. He can't change this situation, so he has to retire and freely sing "It's hard to go" to vent his protest against social injustice. "Return" refers to Tao Yuanming's "return"; "Sword Song" refers to Feng Huan, a diner in Meng Changjun, who wants to leave because he is not reused. They became the spiritual weapons of the frustrated in feudal society. The poet Li Bai used this as a weapon and was ready to leave!

Antique (No.39) and Difficult to Walk are the works of Li Bai at the same time, but their styles are quite different. "Difficult to Walk" is frank and radical: when you are angry, you shout "The road is as wide as the blue sky, but there is no way to go in front of you"; If you have confidence, you will say "I will ride the wind and waves one day, and set my cloudy sail straight and bridge the deep, deep sea", which reflects the poet's unique temperament and the main style of Li's poems. "Antique" (its thirty-ninth) is subtle and graceful, with gentle feelings. The style and content of this poem are most similar to "Antique" (No.54), both of which are: furious.
