"Yu Fang Sheng Lan Yue Zhou" records: "County Records:' Han and Mian are in the north of Xiakou, Chibi is in the south of Xiakou, Wulin is in the south of Chibi, Baling is in the south of Wuling, and Huarong Road is in the west of Baling. ""In the Song Dynasty, Baling County in Yuezhou was under the rule of Yueyang City today. This article claims that the ancient Huarong Road was in the west of Baling County, which is in today's Huarong County, indicating that Song Fashion can confirm that the famous Huarong Road in the Three Kingdoms period was in today's Huarong County, not in Jianli, jiangling county or Qianjiang County. Baling is now Yueyang City, and the west of Yueyang City is now Huarong County. Yu Fang Sheng Lan is a general theory of geography in the Southern Song Dynasty, with 70 volumes. The original version was written by Zhu Mu on 1239, which is the earliest and only geography of "Huarong Road is in Baling West".
The earliest extant "1488" in the first year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty, Yuezhou County Records Huarong County Historic Site contains: "Daoma Cliff is 60 miles northeast of the county. Yesterday, Cao Cao and Sun Liu were defeated in Chibi, and rushed to Jingzhou from Huarong Road. Guan Yu chased them and went over mountains and cliffs. The record of "Wugong Temple" is very detailed, especially there is "Wutu Temple" on the mountain, and its record echoes with "Yu Fang Sheng Lan".
In the forty years of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (16 12), the Records of Huarong County recorded: "Ma Luoya, commonly known as Cao Cao's defeat in Chibi, ran from Huarong to Xingzhou and passed Ziya, and fell because of its name." Taiwan Province Wencheng Publishing House Co., Ltd. published Huarong County Records in the eighth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1882), which has similar records.
It can be inferred from the above literature that Huarong Road should be located in the mountain road where Taohua Mountain is located.
