The story of Jiang Ziya abandoning business and returning to Zhou.

Jiang Ziya, also known as Jiang, is a master of the East China Sea. Jiang Ziya was a junior official in Shang Dynasty. At the end of Shang Dynasty, Zhou Wang was dissolute and cruel, and he only indulged in debauchery, regardless of state affairs, making the treacherous court official in power and the world in chaos. Innocent loyalists are either killed or alienated, and people's lives are very difficult. Dissatisfied with Zhou Wang * * *, Jiang Ziya resigned, left Shangdu to sing, and lived in seclusion by the Weihe River.

Weihe River Basin is under the jurisdiction of Wang Jichang of Zhou Wen. Zhou Wenwang is ambitious and cherishes talents. He looks for wise men everywhere. Jiang Ziya is a very talented person. He has the ambition to help the world and wants to show his ambition. However, he has never met his talent and spent most of his life in poverty. He used to slaughter cattle in Chao Ge and sell them in Jin Meng. Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, he has reached the twilight of his life, with white hair on his temples. When he heard about the holy name of Saint Zhou Wenwang, he came to the Weihe River to watch the current situation under the guise of fishing, hoping to gain Zhou Wenwang's common sense and make his talents display. In order to attract Zhou Wenwang's attention, Jiang Ziya sits by the river and fishes every day. His hook is straight, without bait, three feet above the water. While fishing, he said, "Fish, take the bait quickly." Someone kindly told him that he couldn't catch any fish in this way. Jiang Ziya just smiled and said, "The fish will take the bait themselves. Although I am fishing here in name, I don't mean to be a fish. The fish will take the bait themselves. I would rather win than win, not for the golden scales, but for the princes. " People laughed at him, but he ignored him. Jiang Ziya's abnormal behavior finally alarmed Zhou Wenwang, who was eager for talents. Zhou Wenwang thought he might be a talented person, so he sent soldiers to invite him. When Jiang Ziya saw that he was a soldier, he not only ignored it, but also continued to fish, saying, "Fishing, fishing, fishing, if the fish don't bite, the shrimp will make trouble!" The soldier must report back. Zhou Wenwang is a caring person. He pondered the old fisherman's words and deeds for a long time, and finally suddenly realized that perhaps this unusual old man is the great sage he is looking for with extraordinary wisdom. I didn't ask others respectfully and humbly, which is why he is so lofty and boastful.

In fact, Zhou Wenwang's idea is not bad at all. It was Jiang Ziya, a man of great virtue, who was fishing on the bank of Wei River. He knew that Zhou Wenwang had the intention of attacking the country and alleviating the suffering of people all over the world, and he wanted to help him personally.

Zhou Wenwang changed his old reserve and personally invited Jiang Ziya. He respectfully came to the Weihe River to salute the old man. Jiang Ziya said, "I've heard a lot about the good king, and I want to go out and help him. I just don't know if the king can trust me or if the king really invites me. " Zhou Wenwang quickly said: "This king is really thirsty for talents!" Then I asked him about his plan to rejuvenate the country. The two chatted very speculatively. To Zhou Wenwang's surprise, a poor old man who delights in fishing every day knows so clearly about world affairs and the country's martial arts and sandwiches, and his knowledge is so profound and his views are novel and original. He also found that the poor old man who fished had deep attainments in the five-element arithmetic and the method of using troops.

Zhou Wenwang, who is thirsty for wisdom, found from Jiang Ziya's wise and astute conversation that this man was the Great Sage he was looking for. He sighed happily: "My ancestor Taigong has long pinned his hopes on you!" " "So Zhou Wenwang treated him with the most solemn etiquette and put him in his carriage.

Thus, 83-year-old Jiang Ziya came out of the mountain and became a Buddhist in the Western Zhou Dynasty. He helped Zhou Wenwang and Ji Chang greatly. Because he helped the country to be good, the people had laws, and Wang Wen was assisted, the national situation was initially determined and prospered day by day. Zhou Wenwang is "fatherly" to Jiang Ziya, treating him as his own old man and almost obeying orders. Jiang Ziya's return to Zhou Wenwang laid the groundwork for the demise of Shang Dynasty. Later, he assisted Zhou Wuwang, arose and attacked, and commanded those who had the means. After many bloody battles with no road, the 800-year-old Zhou Dynasty was finally completed.
